The glass of wine on arrival following the booking in proceedure was very welcome. The receptionist was very efficient. The upgrade was welcome too, the room was very comfortable, the little touches of the hand made shortbreads and the confectionary were lovely. The restaurant was good too. would love to return again

We arrived early just expecting to store our luggage but not only did they have a room ready for us but we were upgraded as well! The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. We loved all the quirky little details and extra touches such as the welcoming glass of wine (although we forgot to get it when we returned later in the day!), it had the luxury touches of a five star hotel but with a very individual design and personal feel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We couldn't fault our stay and look forward to staying again. Would certainly recommend this hotel and have actually done so already! We should have stayed for two nights!!

Good location, close to the Yorkshire Playhouse which was the reason for our visit. Fabulous breakfast, with one of the biggest choices of sausages and home made jams I have encountered in a hotel. Room comfortable and nice views of river. Shortbread and fudge were lovely. Bit noisy for short time at night outside, but it settled. My daughter's soft boiled eggs were hard! But if that's all I can come up with, that's not too bad.

Lovely, comfortable, friendly and slightly quirky (in a good way) hotel in a vibrant area of Leeds. Great breakfast and very helpful staff. Parking was the only inconvenience. The meters outside need feeding from 8am and are expensive, and public car parks are a bit of a walk away.

The riverside location is excellent. The room we were in; 211, was tired and jaded with the carpet in the entrance hall very dirty. The lighting was poor overall and the tea "tray" located inside the wardrobe was the cause of a hindrance/obstacle if needing to access the bathroom: the wardrobe door could not be closed.

Loved the location. Thought the breakfast was excellent. When I ordered milk for my tea it arrived before the kettle had boiled. Brilliant. Carpets were a bit scruffy. Wished the windows opened wider. No cotton buds or cotton wool in the delus bedroom but they were in the standard.

The design and comfort of the room were good, though it wad poorly lit, and unhelpful for reading. The staff seemed inexperienced but keen to help as much as possible. A good hotel which could be better with more effort.

I was staying as my son was getting married and he was staying on Friday and he and his wife were there on the wedding night. I was very nervous on arrival as I was on my own but the hotel receptionist and the young man who took my case and my dress up to room were lovely.Thank them so much

I was very surprised by this hotel, on entrance I thought class, and when shown to my room by a very polite porter, the room was excellent, the view was romantic and the comfort of my bed well, I wanted to strap it to my back and carry it home. The room service was excellent, very polite, just what you need after a hard day at work, and what could be better than having a fantastic restaurant nxt door and I mean nxt door.

Rooms looked nice. Reception staff were friendly. Brassie links good. Car parking is local and reasonable for an ncp. Noise from outside/ passers by was awful (was a saturday night and we didn't get in until 4am but this continued throughout the nigh). "Pour your own" bar... lots of disputes about the drink... if you tip the bottle twice, you pay twice (doesn't matter if its clear nothing came out!!) Hotel didn't advise got a discount for parking if paid through them.. found this out through another guest. Dogs were allowed in the bar area (not sure about rest of hotel though?).

The location was excellent with river views and walks and a short stroll to the city centre. Excellent restaurant next door, 'Brasserie 44', with river terrace. Friendly and helpful Staff. Can be noisy at weekends when the nightclubs and bars close

“Quebecs is a beautiful hotel set in historic building. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Arriving and leaving was very easy with hardly any bureaucracy. The room was lovely, well furnished and comfortable. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean as well as luxurious. It is a great place to stay and we felt very welcome and free to wander around and l look at the wonderful features of the building.” Gillian, Liverpool |
