Comfy bed and good wifi signal. Great location and good price
Bathroom as a little unclean and one of the lamps in the bed room was cracked.
Failed to clean room and left no replacement tea, coffee and toilet paper
Was ok, for that price was realy everything what we expect. I think in sommer we gonna book this hotel again.
small room but in London its normal.
Very nice modern (if a bit small) bathroom with excellent shower (but no bath). Decent continental breakfast. Transport links close by. No problems with free WiFi.
Room was very small and carpet quite stained. Apart from the small breakfast room, there is nothing at the hotel other than bedrooms (no lounge, bar, etc.) Impossible to fill kettle directly as too big to fit under the tap, so had to decant water in from a mug. Stayed for 2 nights and came back the second afternoon to find our bed being removed from the room by the staff ! They said the cleaner had said it was faulty but we had slept in it fine. After waiting 30 minutes with room still not ready for us to go back in, we were given a different room for our 2nd night.
Located near Tour bus routes and two subway stations. Staff was polite enough but not overtly so. Room was clean. Shower head was nice. heater worked.
The room (101) was small 12' X 12' maybe, the TV was mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed sticking out 6" where there is maybe 18 inches to walk by in the first place. We often walked over the bed to get past each other. Mattress was 8 inches thick with lumpy springs. Shower usually got floor wet the way the shower door was attached. No shelf to put personal stuff in bathroom. Towel heater didn't seem to work. Price was high at $200 (US) a night for what we got. It was over New Year's Weekend in London so prices were at a premium. There is no lobby or bar to relax in. The included Breakfast was basic and the same every day. No hot food.
Location, just 3 min away from the underground
Room 201 was awful. Very soft bed and no possibility for fresh air. The (poor) breakfast was served in the basement. Quite hot and small space, not very comfortable for an easy breakfast.
Room far too small. The hotel was under renovation and we haven't been informed about this. Terrible mess everywhere. We had a power failure for a whole night.
Cockroaches in room at night. Breakfast room cramped and meal average. Can't cope with volume of people. Bedroom on top floor was very small - perhaps all rooms the same but not much room at all. Window did not stay open. Bed not of any quality and not comfortable. Staff not particularly friendly. Room too warm. Stairs particularly steep.
.good location well equipped. staff helpful
breakfast not worth the trouble.lighing poorly designed and maintained
1)Good customer service-allowed us to leave our baggage even after checking out because our train wasn't till the evening. 2)Great location-near two tube stations, safe area 3) Friendly staff 4) Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to sleep in whilst touring London.
Location is excellent.
But the standards have deteriorated immensly since last year. Will have look for a new hotel for our annual trip next time
The location in queensway was brilliant! Such a short walk from the station and the high street was full of supermarkets and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great room with a spacious and clean bathroom. Definitely value for money. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.
Nice position, near two underground stations and many restaurants. Free Wi-Fi.
Maybe the rooms are very small, and a window was broken. Breakfast room is very small. But if you go there for a little holiday it's ok.
The room was modern & comfortable with a nice stylish bathroom & good shower.
The downstairs was a work in progress (bit of a building site) & there were some strange noises coming from the water system & outside our room at night.
Close to Oxford St, metro stations and places to eat Very close to Hyde Park which is really beautiful
hard to get to from airport/paddington station room was a bit small lift was annoying
Nice light room, newly painted. The shower exellent.
It smelled painting inn the room. The breakfast was not the best. It was a very small breakfastroom. The staff did not have a dishmachin, that is not hygenical .
Small rooms, noise you couldn't sleep from people coming and going and the lift stopping and starting
Location Cleanliness Warm Rooms Friendly Staff Good Bathrooms
Wifi signal was too weak and difficult to connect to. The bed was slightly uncomfortable No lockable room for luggage Breakfast quite basic
The hotel is nice and clean. It is good that there is elevator. Perfect location, quiet area.
staff on day of arrival were not as friendly as usual.
There were plenty of food at breakfast(cheese, ham, butter, jam, cereals, croissant, milk, orange juice, apple juice). The bed was comfy. It was very close to Hyde Park and two underground stations.
You can hear every car that goes by at night if your room faces the street, but if you're very tired you won't have problems with that.
Well located hotel, close to tube station.. Small room but very clean
The room was small and noisy as we were on the street side
Location was great. Really close to 2 tube lines. The bathroom was newly refurbished with lovely shower. (no leaking) . The room had balcony. The bed was comfortable. Although we got Street side, it wasn't too noisy.
The main door on the entrance and the door of the room doesn't look secure. Sometimes they were widely open. The fact that there's no receptionist at the building (suites 39) enchances the possibility of someone breaking in. The room was rather small. The carpet had staines and in the bathroom there was some hair on the floor and one short in the toothbrush cup, on the day we arrived (!) Sometimes it smelled terrible. The room we got was NOT the room from the photos. It was supposed to be newly refurbished, but it wasn't. But we got the balcony, so decided not to complain. The ring left in the room was never returned (they say they didn't found it).
The location was perfect, roughly a 5 minute walk to Kingsway station and right on the doorstep of Hyde Park.
The room was very basic, the shower door didn't close and the radiator was held on by 1 bracket. The safe didn't work. Breakfast was very very basic, a choice of either toast or cornflakes.
