Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club (1.1 km / 0.7 miles) is an internationally renowned course, being a rotated host of the Open Championship. It is unique in that it is the only links style course to begin with a par 3 hole.
In case you should suddenly feel drawn to the bustle and crowds, the rides, shows and restaurants of Blackpool Pleasure Beach (5.5 km / 3.5 miles) are just a short drive up the coast.

The honesty bar was novel, the decor was modern but warm and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I think the public toilets on the ground floor near the reception area need updating to meet with the rest of the hotel decor. I would have also preffered a bath and the lighting in the room for putting on make up was not adequate. |

the free access to the bar on a honesty basis. The pleasent attitude of the staff. I left some expensive shoes behind and they where forwarded to my home address within a week, Thanks and well done. the cramped parking space. |

Thought all facilities were very good and the free coffee at anytime was welcomed.. There was a group of ladies staying at the hotel, who arrived back at hotel at 3.30am and proceeded to make lots of noise in the bar and aroind the hotel which obviously woke us up. When I complained next morning to the receptionist, she told me that she had stayed overnight and had heard it all too. But did nothing!! I was told that next time I should ask for a room that is not on the first floor so I couldn't hear the noise from the bar. Not the answer I wanted to hear, so I told her there will not be a next time. These ladies ruined our stay, the first night was brilliant. |

Good size rooms well appointed with free internet, tea and coffee and a decent size TV and bathroom. We arrived after 22.00 but had no problems with arranging a late arrival. Same in the morning when we left early, breakfast was available before 07.00. Dispels any lingering doubts about historical Blackpool B&B's!!! |

Hotel fabulous, rooms clean tidy and very modern. Bar area comfortable and honesty bar policy a great idea. 6 of us stayed at Mode and we will definately be back again in the future. A fantastic hotel! Hate to point out a down fall but the only thing missing from the hotel was a full english! |

Friendly greeting at reception, cleanliness and well appointed room. Breakfast was continental but of excellent variety and again, everything looked clean and hygienic. The lift is extremely slow. Not for people with claustrophobia. Use the stairs, they are much quicker. |
