The rooms were one of the best we have been in, cleaniness, comfort etc & the receptionist was very good, very professional but lovely with it, nothing was too much trouble.

Only a minorcomplaint, if you can call it that.........we had to put a small towel into the shower as it was very slippy.

Location by the sea front and proximity to restaurants and other facilities

Lovely modern hotel with superb service - I would highly recommend this small hotel.

Perfectly hospitable and helpful, friendly duty managers. Very clean room and common areas. Good choice of continental breakfast. Fair bar prices in the "honesty bar".

Had not realised there would be no hotel "service" other than a duty manager. Had not realised there is no in-house restaurant/cafe. Had not realised there would be no room service. Had not realised there are no bar staff. Could not find the indoor swimming pool. I do not think this is entirely my fault when booking as these issues are not highlighted in your headline description of this hotel This is a bare B&B "lodge" service and therefore overpriced. It was not really suited to our needs. Perhaps my mistake for not ringing the hotel before booking, but I think you need to highlight the limitations of this hotel and make clear that there is not in fact an indoor swimming pool in this hotel nor any of the facilities we were hoping for.

Excellent staff on reception. One in particular is the perfect example of what reception should be like- training managers at Marriott or Ramada please note. The design was attractively modern and very comfortable.

Very small items to make a very good hotel excellent. The lift takes a very long time to close the doors to the point you assume it is not working. If this is a programming issue it would be worth looking at. Equally small I found it very difficult to switch on the tv and had to ask reception. When giving details of the wi-fi long on at check in, as they do, it would be good to add info on where tv switch can be found. Whilst looking good the breakfast tables would be very small for two people.

Contempory and modern interior that is a welcome change in an area where many of the hotels have become outdated The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.

We enjoyed the whole experience at Mode. It was very comfortable. The staff were excellent, they couldnt do enough for you, they made our stay really pleasurable.

The "honesty" bar was a nice touch

The check out time is the earliest I have ever come across. But we were told as we were checking out that we could have requested a later time

location, close to blackpool area but far enough away to be quieter, good resturants close to hotel

Small, friendly hotel close to town centre and overlooking the Promenade. Hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a Toby Carvery opposite the hotel and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
