Ausgezeichnetes Service. Rezeption, Concierge und alle weiteren Mitarbeiter waren immer zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Suite war sehr geräumig und die Lage des Hotels ausgezeichnet.

Im ersten Moment ist der Hoteleingang etwas schwer zu finden.

Housekeeping sucks! Rooms are not cleaned properly. Problems with Shower, maintenance needs improvement.

The Staff provided a first class service through out our stay.

Staff would go out of there way to do anything to help, probably the service we have ever had anywhere in the world. Beats hands down the New York hotels!

This was our first stay at 51 but it will not be our last. 51 is a hidden gem in London. The staff are fantastic - welcoming, courteous and helpful. Our suite was marvellous and the bed was super-comfortable. Do not expect a mere hotel, look forward to a different experience.

We found nothing to dislike about our stay, the staff couldn't do enough to help. The hotel itself was wonderful and our suite was very well equipped, it really was a home away from home.

Loved everything about it, bed was comfortable breakfast was very good in fact everything, for us, was just perfect. Waiting staff were incredible, also compliments all round to housekeeping.

decoration was a bit tired in our suite, nothing else.

I loved the staff and their constant attention to detail. The suite style room was superb. I will return for sure. The breakfast was wonderful and concierge Alex and Nelson deserve gold stars!!

The shower was without a doubt the smallest shower I have ever seen.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Location of the hotel is fantastic. Rooms are quote big and nicely appointed. Kitchen in room is a nice feature and well apointed. Breakfast in Bistro 51 is good and service excellent. Wifi is free though not always reliable.

Rooms in dire need for an update. Furniture is quite worn down. Not as clean as could be. Our room had an alley view that was not very pleasant. Lots of noise from early morning deliveries. WiFi broke down every minute or so. You cannot go wrong staying here but this is not 5 stars. I would give it a solid 7/10, mostly for the nice staff and good location.

The staff and service was excellent

We arrived at 8 in the morning and hoped for an early check in, the hotel administration was so kind that they not only arranged for an 11 a.m check in, but they also upgraded us to a ( Deluxe Ministers Suit ),plus free internet which was really fabulous. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, i particularly appreciated the services of the concierge team : Alex and Nelson who were very professional and did their best to help us in dinner booking and tickets for many London's attractions and museums.

Because of the location of the hotel's gate, which was not on the main street, we had to wait for a few minutes every time we order a taxi, though the staff tried their best to make things easier and the waiting time shorter.

As others have commented this is a very, very good hotel. Our suite was a one bedroom deluxe in the King's building, it was very big and had everything we could want for our stay. The rooms were kept immaculately clean and, although this ranks as one of the hotel's unrenovated suites, it was still 5* standard - just ageing in places. The canapés and drinks in the library each evening were superb and it was easy to get chatting to other relaxed guests and the attentive staff. The location is superb, even an m&s and three good restaurants just round the corner. Loved it - we hope to return next year.

Nothing really, this is not a hotel with big public rooms but we did not feel the miss of that feature. The suites are so spacious you don't feel the need to sit somewhere else.

The Taj is a superbly run hotel with very comfortable accommodations and excelllent service.

I got feedback some of the rooms up the back of the hotel were a bit noisy and some customers were affected by some construction but this didn't affect my stay

Wireless internet was very poor. Couldn't connect in my room on 2nd floor most of the time.

I really appreciated the kitchen facilites and the spaciousness.

The service from the staff is exceptional. The reception team, concierge and breakfast staff are all top notch and at the summit of their art. Hotel is also walking distance to many interesting sites including Buckingham Palace. The access to the hop-on / hop-off bus tour is very close by.

I chose this hotel because of its location to all the major tourist sites. A few minutes walk to Buckingham Palace and walking distance to Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The bus and tube stations are at the end of the street. All very convenient. I booked a junior suite. It was very spacious and had everything you would need for a short or extended stay. I particularly wanted a washing machine and dryer as I had been on a 3 week bus tour. The suite was extremely comfortable particularly the bed. After 3 weeks of dubious hotels it was wonderful to sink into bed every night at the Taj. All the staff were very professional and friendly. They certainly made you feel welcome. A home away from home and I shall certainly stay there again on my next visit to London.

The size and facilities in the suite

The service 'outside' Taj suites - ie; the Crown Plaza Zandar bar and Bank restaurant can be very hit and miss, which is a shame.

It was in a great location to walk to many sights and the underground was not too far away.

There was no where in the room to unpack our clothes so we had to live out of our suitcases for the five nights we were there (even though we had a two bedroom apartment). Also, we had trouble getting into the restaurant for breakfast - however, room service was great.
