We wanted somewhere that wasn't in the middle of London and this hotel was approx. 30 mins away by the underground (costing around 6 Pounds per day each). The room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. We were in a room at the back of the hotel, which was preferable to the front as there was quite a bit of traffic noise.”

Great location for the tube, excellent Japanese restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, loved the coffee machine in the room, and the feeling of getting some pleasant extras in the room like a nice design magazine, wifi, nice quality toiletries and a really good shower. Breakfast in the morning was a lovely continental breakfast, again, lovely to see the little extras like a range of cheeses, different breads, juices, pastries and wide selection of cereals and fruit salad, and the attractively set table. Staff were attentive and efficient. Parking was available at the front of the hotel, but this was a little difficult to negotiate with hotel service contractors also using the car park, however the way this was managed as a priority by the hotel staff was impressive and did not significantly hinder our stay.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Once inside the decor and style was really nice. The check in desk staff were always friendly as were the staff in the resturant and bar. We had booked a street view room but were moved for free to a quieter back room which wasnt big but was perfectly fine for me and my girlfriend for two nights. The room was fully equipped with coffe machine, kettle, hairdryer, great bathroom, fridge, free safe and free 5 day wifi access. It really was nice the bed was so comfortable and the room was cleaned spotlessley. We didnt dine in the resturant in the evenings as the Japanese menu wasnt to our liking but it looked good enough. The bar was failrly well stocked for the size with a couple of types of lager by the bottle and wines by glass or bottle. However due to prices we went to the shop around the corner and picked up a bottle of wine cheaply and took it back to the room as wine glasses were provided in the room. The continental breakfast comes free with the room and was delicious with plenty to eat and drink. I didnt crave a full english all weekend. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will consider it again when we go for a weekend in London, the price, the location from the M4 coming from the west and 2 minute walk to the tube made our weekend brilliant. Definatly check it out!

We stayed in the garden suite away from the main hotel, this was an excellent facility. We had to young Children 6yrs and 2yrs and being in a private area of the hotel made this more relaxing for us as a family. I would defiantly use this hotel again and recommend this hotel to friends and family. Note: It was a very warm weekend and the Air conditioning which was available in both rooms was excellent fully controllable by you and not the hotel great! It was quite far out of main London (20-25 minutes on the tube which was very close to the Hotel, 2 minutes walk..if that) but this was an advantage and a disadvantage. The Hotel provided continental breakfast which was fine, and there was a Japaneses restaurant available for evening meals. This was limiting with a young family but not a problem, also it would have been nice to have room service available with lite snacks. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

I walked in and everything was taken care of up to the last minute of my stay. I found this hotel a solid choice for Ealing if not the only one having stayed in most of the hotels around this Borough. Bed was great and the pillows were fabulous. The breakfast was freshly prepared and faultlessly served. Complimentary mineral water in the room spares your trip to the shop across the road. Free wi-fi is available throughout the building and works even in the garden! The bus which stops right outside the hotel takes you to the near by Ealing high street. The underground station is only a breath of air walk from the hotel. Excellent look no further hotel and great one night experience. I was woken up early morning by other guests going to their rooms, after a night out I guess, but not the hotel fault.

We absolutely loved our stay... We rented the suite for the three of us, which had a lovely kitchenette with pots/pans/plates/mini-fridge/etc... Tv in the common room and the bedroom - towel warmer, skylight in the shower... Just peaceful! Everything had a Japanese design, including the restaurant (which we didn't eat at since one of us hated that cuisine). Overall - great and will come back with our toddler next time! The Tube station was really less than 2mins walk though the line wasn't one that we were able to start our site-seeing without switching trains a few times which was a little inconvenient, parking - there's only 4 places, which seemed a challenge...

Nice locatie, handy for both getting to central London and Heathrow. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Nice garden. Local restaurants nearby walking distance if you don't fancy the Japanese restaurant of the hotel. Good shower.

It was a lovely experience. The room was great, spacious and very clean. We had water, tea, coffee in our room, all free of charge. For my next trip in London, I will definitely choose this hotel again. Although twenty minutes far away from center, the tube was one minute distance and we have all the connections we need - for Heathrow and town. Wonderful experience! Nothing to complain about.

The staff were very helpful and very kind. Our bedroom was tiny you could walk around the bed and that was it. Window looked onto a brick wall but stated street view!

The room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. We were in a room at the back of the hotel, which was preferable to the front as there was quite a bit of traffic noise. For the price of the room and compared to many other hotels and B & B's we stayed at on our extended holiday, we should really have been provided with a cooked breakfast. Also, there was a strange gurgling water noise at odd times of the day and night and we couldn't work out where it was coming from (perhaps the plumbing needs looking at??).

Its well situated and value for money. Hotel staff is very friendly and ready to help. Hotel 55 don't accept Travellers Cheques which is mostly used for business travels. Hotel 55 should have more options for food other than just Japanese as mostly variety in food makes stay more attractive.

Rooms are exceptional for the price, also loved the fact the staff didn't mind staying up to man the residents bar. Took advantage of the free parking perfect! - need to get there early though. Fingers crossed it was a one off for our trip but the dirty linen in bags all around the hotel very late in to the afternoon was a real let down.

The staff were very friendly and eager to please every single wish from the guests. The facilities were refurbished recently and they seem to be in very good condition. There is a real weird noise coming from the street 24x7. The hotel is just 4 meters from one of the most crowded avenues in Western London. Better a room facing the garden, however, they are pretty small.
