Hotel 55  

The staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. There is a brilliant Japanese restaurant in the hotel, and there is everything you might need in the room - hair dryer, iron, espresso coffee maker, safe, tv, etc, excellent toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel is stylish and, unusually for London, there is a pretty garden. Even though it's on a main road there was no traffic noise. Tiberius on reception was efficient and professional - sorted out my phone problems, looked after my case after I checked out but before I went to the airport. Buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and coffee made by an excellent barrista.

There was nothing to dislike. The hotel and its staff were perfect in every way.

Hotel was very welcoming, staff very helpful and polite. Room was clean, comfortable and well presented (well styled and modern). Free parking directly outside the hotel (only 4 spaces; I was lucky). Good location, just a 2 minute stroll from North Ealing tube station. All in all a good hotel - recommended.

Room wasn't as large as I expected from the website photographs. Room was also located directly opposite reception, and whilst it wasn't excessively noisy as a result didn't feel as private as I expected (the staff were apologetic for this). The limited (4 parking spaces) weren't a problem in my instance but could have been for others.

Excellent, I have stayed a few times now and its honestly a really great Hotel. I will use every time if possible, when I travel to London on business.

Its a great location for me as my daughter is currently attending Drama School in Ealing. It is my second time staying here and find the hotel very comfortable and convenient for the North Ealing tube station on the Picadilly line which gives direct access to the city centre and to Heathrow via a change at Acton Town. I love the Nespresso coffee machine in the bedroom. The staff are also very approachable and helpful. I will be using this hotel again.

On this occasion there was a problem with the window catch in my bedroom which wouldn't fasten properly and made the room very difficult to heat adequately. However, the staff did offer me another room but I liked the room I had and opted to stay there. Additional blankets were provided for the bed and the window was sealed up as well as possible with a sheet!

This hotel is close to the metro station. The staff was friendly. The design of the room is great and the shower really nice.

The bed was a little bit too soft.

A stylish hotel with average sized, comfortable rooms. The staff were extremely helpful.

We had trouble finding and getting to the hotel. Hangar lane has no right turns going north. Make sure you know where the hotel is and approach from the north.

The hotel and services were brilliant and the family suite was the best to date and we will deffinately be returning in the near future due to family connections in london

Rooms are quite small but well designed and furnished, and very comfortable. The staff are really professional and helpful.

Parking can sometimes be a problem.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Smart, "boutiquey", good vibe. Good location for suburban London. Good value for money. Was the last hoyel of 7 that I stayed in during a two week UK trip and easily the best. Would recommend without hesitation.

A lift would have been good but wouldn't stop me styaing there again.

The location was good for where we needed to go. It is near to North Ealing Tube station which made access to the city easy. Momo, the Japanese restaurant in the hotel, is very good.

Our room was on the small side but I guess rooms in London are that way. Luckily we had only brought one suitcase because there would not have been space for a second one.

The hotel is superbly located just 3-minutes from the Underground. It provides free car parking but spaces are limited and there is no unrestricted street parking around so this could be difficult. The coffee perculator in the room is a nice touch but takes a degree to work out how to use it.

The hotel is advertised as a boutique 4* hotel and although it's clearly trying to be, it does look "tired" in the public areas - especially the carpets. My room was on the second floor and was particulalry small but adequate for my needs.

We stayed at this hotel because it was convenient to get to Wembley from it (on the bus). The room was excellent, very helpful staff and loved the breakfast.

Great location, staff were fantastic !!! Bit of a "glitch" with the original booking, however, the manager on duty was very apologetic and resloved the issue in a highly professional and caring manner. We had a great time and would stay there again. I will be writing to the hotel to personally thank them for their high standards of customer care.

We booked a taxi through the hotel reception and were quoted a cost of about 12 to 15 pounds for our journey. On completing our taxi journey the driver tried to charge us £20.00, we argued vigorously and he did lower the price, but if you want a taxi ensure yoi book it with another company , I will be making the hotel aware of this one issue.

Parking is free and tube station is just a few minutes to walk, so I came by my car and visited city center by tube. It was convenient. Good Japanese restaurant in the hotel. Free WIFI.

Very relaxed and unstuffy feel to the Hotel, staff were charming and courteous and the 24 hour bar made a nice change.

The staff is very friendly and the room is great taking the budget price into consideration.

However the wifi provided in the room is a pain in ass. Instead of simple wifi, Hotel 55 provides wifi which asks customers to go through non-necessary registration process and enter complicated codes. The first problem is wifi is only available for 24 hours and we have to enter complicated codes again. Secondly, the most annoying part is we're kicked out from the wifi port easily and the code just put in becomes unavailable right away so we have to go to the consierge to retrieve another code again! The process is so annoying that we give up logging in. Hotel 55 could choose another kind of wifi which is much easier and friendly for customers.

Comfortable bed. Fantastic shower. All very clean. Great breakfasts (as long as you don't want a greasy fry-up). Staff very friendly and helpful. Good toiletries. Free mini-bar (though not always refreshed during 5 day stay). Momo Japanese restaurant expensive, but lovely food. Very convenient, within walking distance of 3 tube stations.

Plumbing a bit noisy in my room, when early birds were getting showered. The room is a bit small, but it is clean and everything is there, so for the price it was fine.

i appreciate the contemporary decor and essence; it feels cleaner and more comfortable to me.

Sadly, i couldn't find room to park at the hotel. Used the parking at the very convenient North Ealing Station, upon discovering the very spacious lot to the rear of the station. The restaurants nearby were also very enjoyable. The room was a little "Parisienne" in size, but that's because we know the problems with Americans. Unfortunately i didn't get the chance to use the restaurant at Hotel 55, but it looked enticing. the interior doors to the stairway, was a bit stiff, after the initial electronic doors opening the way in. The stiff doors make it difficult to manage luggage being brought in, and makes me feel awkward and laughably disorganized entering a pleasant facility.
