Room was classy, comfortable and spacious, exactly like the advetised image. The location and decor was perfect. Majority of staff we came accross where professional and helpful.
The receptionist that booked us in was grumpy and unpleasant, she didn't welcome us or smile once! She informed us that breakfast was in the cafe over the rd as the restaurant was shut so we cancelled breakfast and there was no flexibility for a late checkout.
the location was excellent and the reception staff extremely friendly and efficient
the decor was a tad shabby - plaster work giving up in places and carpets could do with a deep clean
Fantastic room very spacious and in a central location. Would definitely use this hotel again.
Boutique style hotel with beautiful room! I will recommend to friends and absolutely stay there again! :D
Would have been ideal if there were fridges in the Rooms. Sky TV would have been welcome and up to date music speaker divice - only compatable with iPhone 4- docking station.
Room was really nice and very spacious. Location was good, short walk to reach the shops and bars.
We were most disappointed to be sent to a cafe across the road for breakfast, this was most unexpected as we were not notified nor asked if this was acceptable until our arrival. If you didn't want a full English choices were very limited.
Location Size of rooms
No mini bar in the rooms No water Had to wait ages for a taxi even though we tried to pre book it.
location was brilliant room was huge price is fantastic
needs a lick of paint very noisy in the morning lighting was quite poor blood on the door which wasn't nice!!!
Lovely and warm. Super room. Plenty hot water.
a minor - creaky floorboards
Location was good, room large and well appointed
Despite being told on confirmation that breakfast would be availabe, we were informed in the morning that there is no restaurant at the hotel. This was rather disappointing and we felt we had been misled at the time of booking
Location excellent and size of room also excellent. My friends had very nice rooms although I felt mine paled in comparison.
The bathroom was quite dusty and the bedroom also didn't appear to be as clean as it should have been - very dusty. Also no tissues in the bathroom - it was as if someone had been in the room before me and had asked for a move!
Size of rooms
Breakfast is not in Hotel but in cafe over road at half the price not very good
Would like to book same wkend again next year if possible please.xx
Lovely decor, nice room set out, lovely cosy feel
No bath, said extra large double bed but was Defo a standard double if that, my feet and partners were hanging off the end of bed and both are under 6ft. Bed comfy tho. Left my coat behind contacted hotel twice not heard a word back.
Very spacious rooms
No coffee in the rooms, we were told they had run out. The restaurant next door has closed so breakfast served in the cafe across the road. Very noisy rooms due to location and no double glazing
The feel of the place and the size of the room
No coffee in the room, sink was too low. Toilet seat wobbly and shower doors didn't close properly. Not enough light in the room when dark outside
Easy walk from city centre shops and Liverpool One car park. Large bedroom and bathroom. Well furnished. Lift to floors. Close to The Beatles quarter and the Cavern Club. Lots of nearby bars and restaurants.
No bar or food facilities on site . Breakfast in cafe across the road so no point in pre-paying! Fair bit of traffic and deliveries noise early in the morning.
We had problems parking our car as Liverpool was very busy for a boxing event, however the staff were excellent and helped us. The superior room was fantastic and very clean. We heard no noise whilst in the room and had a brilliant nights sleep. it was very central meaning we did not have to use taxis whilst staying there.
Location Size of room No problem with comfort of bed and pillows size also very good. Short walk to city centre parking with reduced fee.(drop off ok other reviews people had problems)
Booked breakfast but restaurant closed. Hotel refunded money used All Bar One round the corner.(very good)
Location was fantastic Room was lovely
Lighting in the room wasn't very good
Location of this hotel in relation to restaurants and shopping is good. Elaine was very helpful to us on arrival and for rest of our trip. Will be staying again soon.
Loved the way the hotel retained the character of the former bank. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean, very generously proportioned and in a great central location for Liverpool One, Albert Dock and round the corner from St James station
Location of hotel
No longer has a restaurant or bar. Not informed of this untill we arrived. Breakfast is in the café across the road where the staff were very accommodating. Need a light where the coffee making facilities are
Very basic hotel. Would pay the bit extra next the for a better hotel with better facilities
Location. Room was large and clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Nice view of the city.
