fabulous sized room, helpful staff, great bar

The rooms were big and well furnished the hotel was very good all round and could not fault it.

Loved the rooms. Very spacious with enormous beds and leather sofas and chairs. Location was perfect. Restaurant and bar was good

The accommodation was very well presented, the Hotel staff were extremely helpful and our stay was a pleasurable experience..

The hotel was clean & I liked the fact that it was in an old bank which made it an interesting building.The room was large & the bed & pillows were extremely comfortable. Our room was well appointed & the provided tea/coffee etc included Earl Grey tea which was a nice surprise. The bathroom was spacious with soft.fluffy towels & lovely toiletries & good shower.Lighting & mirrors were good for applying makeup etc. There was a good hairdrier provided along with an iron & very nifty ironing board tucked away in a drawer! Situated close to the main shopping areas & restaurants & with James St station just along the street we will certainly be back.

I thought I'd booked a twin room but got a double bed but that was not a problem.

The room, the huge bed and bath, large lounge area. It was perfect for our break away.

Beautiful old bank converted to hotel. Room exceptional. Restaurant lovely but unfortunately only open for breakfast the day we were there. Close to everything you would want to see in Liverpool, attractions, museums, shopping and restaurants.

Would have loved to see the hotel busy and it deserves it, but it was quiet when we were there.

Location was excellent as was the ambience and decoration. Staff (especially night porter) were excellent. Facilities in the room were second to none.

The hotel cancelled our dinner reservation the day before our stay , we tried to call the desk but no body answered until the morning of the stay a little unsatisfactory.

I loved the huge room. It was at least 35 sq. Meters on two levels with a luxurious style. The design was a little macho, with heavy maroon couch, dark wood and furniture.

The room was excellent - spacious, very comfortable, warm, great atmosphere. The bar and dining room are splendidly designed.

I was unable to have dinner, due to the restaurant being closed, contrary to what was on the website, but staff gave good information about where I might go, and even offered to collect foodstuffs for me.

How the hotel have kept the old style, Hotel room was very nice

Breakfast was very expensive and not very good. The evening dinner also not very good and expensive compared with the food

The room was gorgeous, very spacious. Best room I've stayed in! Absolutely in love with the hotel and cannot wait to return!

Very little natural light in the room, no main lights just lamps so struggled to do my make up.

Room was excellent size, staff were very friendly and food was great.

Returned from a night out around 2/3oclock to find the main entrance locked and we had to ring the night manager to come and unlock the doors... This could be something to look at, however this didnt cause any real problems apart from that was faultless
