I liked the central location for getting to all that central Liverpool has to offer. Noise from the roadworks first thing in the morning. Also the bathroom needed some work it looked grubby around the bath as the sealant was dirty and peeling away.

we were greeted by the receptionist who was very friendly, our room wasnt ready but we stored our luggage whilst we went shopping. when we came back , our room was stunning, bed on a stage and steps going down into a lounge area. the wine in the ice bucket turned out not to be ours, but the hotel staff gave us a complimentary glass of wine for the mix up. we thought this was exellent customer service. will definately stay here again.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, very welcoming and helpful reception staff. Excellent Eggs Benedict for breakfast. Excellent location for sightseeing, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. No place to place wash bag etc in bathroom except floor. Shower too low to stand under for moderately tall people. Breakfast service desultory and no fruit available.

Secon time back, stayed in a different room this time but was equally as good as the last time. Had breakfast this time, cooked breakfast was good, service not so (see below). Again the night porter was very friendly, he even remembered us, he is a credit to the hotel. Would definately come back. We decided to pay £10.00 extra each for breakfast, as a 3* hotel I expected more fromt he buffet but it was very limited. The waitress did not smile or attempt conversation with us at all. Very dissappointing and took the edge off this stay. Also with 3* did not expect to take my cup to the buffet every time I wanted a cup of tea. However the Night porter, room and cooked breakfast were fab.

We arrived very late (midnight) and the Night porter is one of the best I have had the pleasure of meeting. Our room was wonderful, spacious and extremely comfortable. We are staying again in a few days and this time will try the breakfast.

Great location, friendly staff, super restaurant, would definitely stay again Room needed some tlc, sealant around bath dirty and missing, small holes in ceiling and what looked like tissues stuffed in a big gap where the aircon pipes went through the ceiling. This all detracted from an otherwise very well designed, clean room.

Superior room was a very good size for a city hotel. Parking arrangement with nearby Liverpool One reduced cost for 24hrs to £9.00. Great location for shopping and bars. As with a lot of city hotels, the night can finish late and the day outside starts early. Lighting in the room a bit subdued

The initial impression of room was excellent, the location was right in city centre, which is what I wanted as due to medical condition, I am unable to walk long distances. The only real problem we had with room was also due to location, as my wife was woken at approximately 2am by the noise of street cleaners/bin wagons and this ultimately spoilt our stay. I'm not sure if it gives right impression, but some pairs of disposable ear plugs could be available in room to aid people wanting to avoid the early morning noise issues. we would recommend 62 castle street but warn about noise and tell people to take plugs

Very comfortable design of the room, availability of a kettle with tea and iron, wide selection of tv channels, view from the window. The shampoo went missing on the third day; no good city map is offered; bathroom sink's installation is awkward.

The design comfort facilities and size of the room Just a couple of minor points - there were no shelves eg to lay spare clothes on - although there was a drawer unit the drawers were quite small the spout of the tap in the hand basin was very close to the bottom of the basin and not convenient for washing and very difficult to fill the kettle other than that everything was excellent

Great room, from a design point of view the surfaces were a bit hard making it feel a bit cold , but the room was actually very warm. Lighting to the lower part of the room was limited to do any work. Good bed and bedding. I will be coming back. Waste disposal lorries arriving at 5:30 and sounded like they were hosing down the binary for 20 mins! I was looking forward to a relative lie in away from the kids for one night and 5 mins from my morning meeting but was wide awake by 6.
