Clean and spacious room with great facilities. Excellent location and staff were very helpful.
It did get noisy throughout the night as in the centre of Liverpool.
Traditional and comfortable bed pillows and room with solid walls. Friendly amenable staff who were real not corporate clones. Relaxed and reliable.
Could do with a lick of paint and steam clean.
Style was good and size of room
Room was slightly musty when I arrived

The staff were very helpful and the location was great for everything.
The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast.
The step down into the room which was unexpected when we first arrived!
Beautifully furnished and very clean. The different levels in the rooms were a really unusual feature. The food in the adjoining restaurant was fabulous.
The lighting wasn't very good around the dressing table, making it very difficult to apply make up. The room telephone didn't work which meant a trip down 3 floors to reception when water started to pour through the bathroom ceiling.
Room was spacious, nice large comfortable bed, ideal location for our meal across the road. Reception staff were friendly and helpful
Very poor lighting in both main room and bathroom my friend and I could not put our make up on properly. No full length mirror to see ourselves in. Shower low and did not adjust I am 5ft 8 inches and had to duck to rinse my hair
Room tidy, spacious, highly confortable. The hotel is Near to almost everything
The quality of the finish less than average, the policy of parking (with 185£ per night, paid in advanced, it's supposed to be free), a general lack of empathy
very impressed with the hotel and the location. would definately use this hotel again and would reccomend this to friends.
Perfect location if you're visiting the city.
Location was great and reception area looked good and staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was not clean, drink marks/stains on drawers, hairs on leather seats, dust and bits in the bath, the loft hatch above bath was open and bath panel and plug were broken. Needs some attention and a good clean and freshen up to look like the photos.
Nice big rooms with central location.
Extremely noisy until 2 in the morning, our room was bouncing with music from the bar below. The room was pretty rough around the edges as well, with the bath needed a revamp.
Service was excellent - small things like having spare iPhone chargers available etc You felt at home inside the room, not just in your 'bog standard every room the same' hotel
Loved the location, the rooms, staff were friendly, restaurant/bar for breakfast was nice
Not the hotels fault but was a noisy night on the town (even after a few pints)
Location Southern Restaurant next door is AMAZING Room layout- huge Room amenities- TV, Phone, HUGE bed, Mirrors, Plug outlet (many!)
-No Wifi in the rooms, only public areas- do we live in the stoneage?! -Some room aspects needed updating- repainting etc but overall was a brilliant room!
Room was fantastic
Service in the adjoined restaurant was poor although this is run as a separate business
Me and my fiancé had a fantastic weekend in Liverpool and the hotel was lovely, had everything we could of needed in our room, bed was really comfortable and room was spacious. Would definitely return.
Kindness of the staff. Location.
Facilities are a little bit too old. Restaurant and food.
This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The suite was really smart and it put some 5* hotels in the shade. The weather was hot (I never thought I would say that in Liverpool!)so it was great to have air conditioning. Everything about our stay was good and we had a great nights sleep which ultimately scores the hotel very highly. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very enjoyable. Only a few minutes walk to the docks and museums. We will be back!!
Nothing at all
Excellent location in the centre of Liverpool city centre. Lovely spacious room. Friendly staff
The room was very luxurious, lovely!
I wouldn't recommend paying for the brekfast. If you were a bed and brekfast guest the choice of brekfast was poor. If you hadn't already paid you had much more choice from the menu! You were given a choice of either juice OR tea or coffee, not value for money compared with other hotels we have stayed in the past.
Loved the way the room was set out, the decor, the facilities (tv, iPod docking station etc), the view
No fridge in the room. It was very warm but there was air conditioning but we couldn't put our bottles of water anywhere to keep cold.
Everything, our beautiful bedroom, the professionalism of the staff and the position of the hotel with its proximity to Liverpool 1, Albert Dock, restaurants and Andrew Collinges' hairdressing salon. Superb, we couldn't have chosen better .
Nothing we will definitely stay there again.
They said they would email me a receipt as I requested, but they still haven't.
