Perfect position near the centre and shopping area. The room is very small for three people and not comfortable. Multiple jet shower did not work, heated towel rails did not work too. Wi-Fi doesn't work in the room, only in reception area. The staff is unprofessional. The girl at reception was very unfriendly. The breakfast room is not suitable for this hotel - only 6 small tables. Sometimes we waited for an available table. Overall not good value for money.

It was just around the corner from the restaurant where my group were eating, so it made sense to stay there so I could walk there afterwards. I was greeted by a welcoming man for booking in. There was a lift, the shower was great, the bed comfortable. Room was compact, with tv, but I just wanted to sleep and be awake refreshed for the next day, so it met my need. Breakfast was adequate.

Very nice room, quite spacious bathroom for that tipe of double room. And 2 pillows for each guest! That's was really comfortable! Wi-Fi working excellent! They serving fruits and yogurts for breakfast - it was good for me, cuz I'm used to eat it at home. Small, but cousy breakfast room. And the location is the best side of staying at Hotel 82! just 5 minutes to bakes street tube, 10 min to Regent's Park and 10 minutes to Oxford street! There several good places near: turn right to Crawford street, you'll find Itallian caffe where you can have full english breakfast all day just fo 4,5pounds. Next to it pub Beehiven (or a similar name, sorry for that, but you'll see it definetly hae Bee- thing at the begining)) which serves great burgers with salad, egg, fries! If you want some kind posh but not sooooo expencive (to be honest quite medium prices) try Duke Wellington left down the Crawford street! If you want smth exotic - just go down to oxford street, turn left to Blanford strret, then right to baker street and you'll find Indali Lounge for best tikky masala I've ever had, and Royal China. These are expensive places but it worth to eat there! Deliciuos! You'll also will find tesko, McD, Starbucks, Costa, eat etc. on your way to bakes Street Tube. Good Luck/ Ones maidgirl didn't take waste from the room. But if you're living 1 pound as tips you can be sure 100% room would be perfectly cleaned! The refrigerator and towel rail were quite tricky to turn on! Really! I guess that's all.

The service, the staff helped on arrival and at breakfast. The room was clean, tidy and pleasantly surprising. If I was bringing my partner, the bed would have been too small. There was no picture on the tv.

The room was fine, comfortable bed, bathroom was fine, towels changed everyday and bed dressed. Location was freat, 5-10 minute walk from Oxford Street and 5 minutes from Baker Street. The picture of the reception is very misleading, it doesn't look anything like that. There is a pokey room that is a lounge area. Breakfast is only continental style - this is not mentioned on web-site. Some staff at reception were very unfriendly, they wouldn't say hello unless we did.

Stayed at a single room. Oustanding location. Staff friendly enough. Everything worked: Wi-Fi, hot water, tv, mini-bar, safe, ac, heat. Good value for the price. Room extremely small and no view whatsoever, but great location and good enough for a couple of days.

Very close to family. Good value for money. Lovely soft beds. Small lift. I prefer a cooked English breakfast. But the Continental Breakfast was good and probably healithier than a 'fry-up'.

It had a lift, the room was modern and comfortable. I was quite surprised because the price was very reasonable for the location. It had everything I needed for a one night business stay. I will use them again. My room was very quiet indeed and it was wonderful not to have people smoking in adjacent rooms which often happens in cheaper hotels - well done Hotel 82. I couldn't find instructions for the things e.g the heating system seemed to have lost a knob so I couldn't put it on anyway. I finally managed to get the heated radiator to work in the bathroom. However I hadn't realised that I'd put it on high (level 10). When I got up in the night I accidently touched it and burnt all of my fingers so I've got a massive blister on my ring finger as it was red hot. There is a notice above saying be careful very hot so it was my fault but I think these radiators should be adapted so that they can't go that high. It was as hot as a ring on your cooker. This is just to advise anyone else.

The price, the location. The water pressure in the shower is a joke. I lived in London for 15 years and all it takes to remedy that is to have a water pump installed...

Location! Our booking was cancelled because I was unable to confirm my booking within 24 hours. I was sick so I hadn´t read my mail that they wanted me to confirm my visa card. I had to do a new booking to a much higher price. I contacted the hotel to fix this but they didn´t help me. It cost me + gbp 140 and that was not ok!!

Less than 10 minutes walk to Baker Street, access to multiple underground lines. Ability to check in late Quality and spaciousness of room Working desk area, good lighting Reasonable price- hotel was actually better quality than I imagined (or actually needed for what was just a 10 hour stay basically to sleep overnight. Breakfast not until 08.00 Sat so had to leave prior (would be 07:00 Mon - Fri). Plenty of places in area to eat though or I could have bought necessary from nearby Tesco. Bright blue flashing light on TV when placed to standby distracting when trying to sleep; I covered it over! No plug in bath (fortunately my previous trip had been to New Delhi so my washkit still included one I could use). Did have a very sophisticated shower unit, though almost needed operating manual and may have intimidated some people. Lift would be very cosy for 2 people; if I needed to have taken large suitcase to 4th floor I may have had to put it in and then climb the stairs to call it up to meet it!

Price, comfort and location The blinds were very thin (not blackout) and so a lot of light from outside was in the room. Close to road, so some noise from passing traffic.

Restored Hotel with quite nice bathrooms. Staff is friendly and they are trying their best. This was my worst hotel experience ever! In the first room I got there was a window missing and all the nose from outside, especially the noise from the air condition, was extremely disturbing. They gave me another room where there was a disgusting smell in the bathroom. Since it was a double room which was already booked by someone else for the weekend I had to change room again in the evening. They asked me to leave my luggage in the "luggage store" room which is a cupboard with a number code lock on it. The lock was broken so that everyone could open it. Nobody seemed to care about that fact. The next room I got the window showed to the Gloucester Place. One of the noisest streets of London and the windows are so badly isolated that I had to sleep in the bathroom in order to get some sleep. I had to change room once again where almost everything worked except of the telephone so that I wasn't able to receive calls. Apart from that the wireless lan connection is extremely slow and almost useless.

Location. Close to train station and Madame Tussaud'S. The shower head was covered in mould and dribbled hot then cold water at all times of day. The carpet was poorly cleaned with clumps of hair and dirt in the corners. Towel rail said 'caution hot' but wasn't working throughout my entire stay! No plughole in the sink due to drains being partially blocked and taking forever to drain. Air conditioning unit very loud so didn't sleep well, tried to turn it off but it wasn't working either. Curtains had only a few hooks remaining so didn't block the window very well at all. Didn't have nets underneath either. Needs a good clean and updating soon!

I was checking in at 6am the following morning for a hip replacement operation in a nearby hospital. Originally, I felt I would be able to walk from Hotel 82 but my health did not allow for this. However, I spent a very comfortable evening relaxing and coming to terms with the operation. The hotel was quiet, and peaceful and I enjoyed my stay, Two small points I was paranoid about waking up on time so set my telephone, tv and asked for an early morning call. Fortunately the first two worked but the early morning call did not. I was told it was my fault that the phone was probably on silent however I had not been warned about this when booking the call. Also the hospital was just two streets across in Beaumont Street and the cab the reception called for me charged £15 which to a Senior Citizen on just the state pension was a little excessive to say the least. I was just afraid I may not see a black cab at 5.45 am Obviously I could not take the chance of not getting a room on such an important day but found out the room would have only cost me £49 if I had left it to the last minute.

location of the hotel is very good, the staff are very friendly When I went to the room after checking in,there was a towel hanged at the hanger of the bath room door and there was two cups in the kitchenet sink, the room should be checked before the guest checking in. I also noticed that during my stay the bath room was very well cleaned, towels and everything was very good and clean except the floor of the room was never cleaned.

This ticked all the boxes for us for an overnight stay. Perfect location - Oxford Street is in walking distance, and there is a direct bus to South Kensington for Harrods and museums. Fresh rolls at breakfast, but get there early to avoid queues. Bed comfortable and room a good size. Friendly staff, who promptly moved us on arrival when our original room had no working electricity. Lift only holds a maximum of two - provided you have no luggage! Coffee at breakfast was awful.

good location - 5 minutes walk from Oxford Street and 5 min taxi drive from Paddington train station; clean rooms with adequate bathrooms; good choice for a modest budget and when you need a bed&breakfast hotel only. This was my second stay here.

Good price and really good central location. Had all the amenities I would expect in a hotel room Only thing that let it down was the cleanliness of the hotel - their was clumps of hair over the floor which had not been hoovered up from the previous guest. There were also splash marks and stains up the site of the shelves and desk which had not been wiped off. A few very basic cleaning jobs which had not been done between old/new guests....

It was a very convenient location with some shops and a subway station nearby. It was pretty quiet and the breakfast was Ok. Not that it's that important but apparently it's been remodeled but it looks like it was rushed, you can see some bits and pieces of things that look unfinished. But the main thing is that I was expecting a lot more for what I was paying. I paid a lot of money for a hotel that was just Ok.
