St. Margaret's Hotel, hotel in Kingsdown

1 mile from the famous white cliffs of Dover, this hotel is located within St. Margaret's Bay Holiday Park. Guests have free access to 2 indoor pools, a sauna and various entertainments.

The hotel is a part of a larger camping area with mobilhomes around. Surroundings are fine but nothing really special for a camping of this sort. Nice calm place in a village. The room was decent, of a decent size and clean, nothing bad to say. The restaurant serves decent English breakfast with variations and option at a reasonable price. The bar is a typical village pub with locals watching footbal at the evening.

Great location and the staff were really nice. We had the family room with sea view (for my husband and I) and the room was spacious and had a lovely window seat to watch the sea. We will deffo come back. It was nice to have a poached haddock option for breakfast too.

The St Crispin Inn, hotel in Kingsdown

Located in Worth, 2 miles from Sandwich Railway Station, The St Crispin Inn has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

The full English breakfast was presented nicely and there was certainly enough on the plate to satisfy anybody. The evening meal was a special off of the chef’s board which consisted of pan roasted pork chop ( 25mm thick ) with grilled shallots on a bed of bubble and squeak with a mustard and cream gravy, so good I had it again the following evening. All of the meals were served by friendly and attentive staff.

The holiday home was perfect it had everything we needed Jo really went all out to make it perfect, there was games, books for adults and children, cosy blankets for the evening. The sea view was perfect from the front room, lovely to watch in the evening.

Weather was shocking but beautiful site close to a lovely beach and if there hadn't been driving rain it would have been great for walking! Walked to local pub for a few drinks on Saturday evening which was nice and has a friendly barman, although my brother-in-law walked (in the rain) to the pub on the beach which he said was lovely. Ate at chalet, kitchen fine, table a bit squashed but fine for pizza's on knees in lounge! Swam in pool on Sunday morning, fine but no privacy for changing. I'm sure it's really busy here in summer but would be lovely off-season in good weather! Note- we had 2 chalets, one had a great sea view.

They have wrong postcode on booking.com it toke 3 hours to find the property and electric meter is pay as you go they don’t tell you when you get there you have no choice and you have got to pay for electric, this is very cheeky I wouldn’t recommend this place.

    A club house was advertised.

A club house was advertised. We were told on the phone that we could buy drinks and food from the clubhouse. On arrival we were told that we could not as clubhouse had lost its licence. . Pool was shut for renovation although advertised. We were determined to make the best of the location and sightseeing around but will look for other venues to stay.
