The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. They suggested that we might like to leave our bags when we looked round Cambridge and pick them up later, which was helpful.

Overall I was disappointed with a and b Guest House and didn't feel it waranted the four star rating. In our room the main light didn't work. Also the shaving light in the en-suite didn't work. The room was small and the en-suite was very small, just the width of the shower, no room for your elbows in the shower either. When you opened the shower door a lot of water ran off onto the floor and we had to keep mopping it up with the towel. When you sat on the toilet you could put your head on the sink, it was that small. The hot water at the sink was dangerously hot and the water coming out of the cold tap got warm and then even hotter before it went cold, you had to run it quite a while to get any cold water. I'm sure that this cannot be safe. At breakfast time the table that we were directed to was in a corner, near the fireplace and it was difficult to get in to sit down, neither myself our my daughter are of a large build ( I am size 14 and my daughter is size 10 and we both found it difficult to get out of our chairs.) It did not feel relaxing, having to extricate your legs every time you wanted to get something from the breakfast bar. I had cereals and the milk from the jug that was on the breakfast bar tasted off. I asked the waitress if I could have some different milk for my tea, which she got. She did not test or remove the milk in the jug, I think she thought I was making it up. It was only when another resident, a man, made the same comment that the jug was removed. I wouldn't recommend the mushrooms, they were anemic and tasteless, as if they had been cooked in water for an hour and the tomatoes had black marks at the top. All this might sound like I am complaining a lot but when you have travelled for seven hours to get there and you have booked a four star hotel I expected not to experience all these things.

The staff is really nice and always try to help you in everything. The guesthouse is close to the city center, 15 minutes walking. The neighborhood is quite, no pubs or noise around it.

The breakfast is fine but it is only available for one hour, usually 7:45-8:45 weekdays, and 8:00-9:00 weekends.

This is an excellent B&B. Good value for money. Very centrally situated for the station and the city centre.

The location was nice and quiet. As for the room, it was clean and quite cozy. Tha staff was extremly helpful.

I found that the price was a little bit too high for a B&B.

Very nice breakfast, friendly; when we arrived we had to wait for the land lady for 10 minutes so she upgraded us to a kingsize room in return what was very nice

3階建てでリフトがないため、大きな荷物を持った観光客は大変かもしれない。

In camera il wifi non funzionava.

Wij werden ontvangen door heel erg vriendelijk personeel. Omdat wij vroeg waren was onze kamer nog niet klaar maar ons werd diverse keren iets te drinken aangeboden. Ook kregen wij een stadsplattegrond en werd ons uitgelegd hoe we naar het centrum konden lopen (20 minuten). Het guesthouse ligt op 5 minuten lopen van het station. Wij hadden een 3- persoonskamer gekregen met een kingsize bed en 1-persoonsbed. De kamer was schoon, de bedden heel erg goed. Er was koffie en thee aanwezig op de kamer. De badkamer met douche, toilet en wastafel was klein maar voldeed. Wij hadden prachtig uitzicht vanuit onze kamer (kamer 6). Volgende keer zou ik zeker weer voor dit guesthouse kiezen.

Eigenlijk wil ik geen minpuntjes aan dit guesthouse geven maar ik wil logees van kamer 6 "waarschuwen". 'S Morgens om 08.00 uur ging op onze kamer het rookalarm af. Onze kamer lag op de 1e etage en de ontbijtruimte lag er direct onder. Doordat er bacon en brood geroosterd werd ging het alarm af op onze kamer. Dat was even schrikken.

Only 5 minutes from the railway station and 15 minutes from the City centre.

Four star prices, probably the norm for a city, but lacking in the little extras, e.g. tissues, complimentary water, armchairs that one has come to expect from a four star B&B and indeed, often gets even in a good three star B&B.

Well located, friendly hotel stuff, quiet.

Bonne situation par rapport au centre-ville de Cambridge (15 min à pied) et part rapport à la gare (5 min à pied). Bons petit-déjeuners copieux. Personnel agréable. Charme de la maison anglaise.

Un voisin de chambre qui est rentré ivre deux nuits de suite à 3-4h du matin, et très bruyamment (cherche ses clefs pendant près d'une heure ; on a appris de très nombreux mots d'injures british...). On peut donc déplorer l'absence de sécurité de l'hôtel (aucun personnel le soir). Salle de bain minimaliste.

Very close to the city centre, walking distance, friendly staff, very Nice and clean, hair dryer in the room was great, comfortable beds, tv in the room, cosy and typical English, nice breakfast, parking, I can reccomend this B and B!!!! :-)
