The proprietors, Alison and Derek, were very welcoming and very friendly. It was a pleasure being there with them.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

The friendly welcome. The room was very comfortable. The wifi was very good breakfast was excellent.

The plumbing was noisy, in that you had fear in flushing the toilet or showering late at night as the pump would make a noise

Clean, good quality rooms.

Breakfast was smashing for vegetarian

It was freezing overnight The bathroom was aweful with budget fixtures and fittings the shower was either freezing or scalding The decor was dated And the vendor tried to flog me cheap utilities bills as it was her sideline business after being unflexible about the fact two of our party had dropped out, I had to foot a large bill

Very friendly welcome, bumper breakfast and overall excellent value.

Landlady was very pleasent and upgraded our room at no extra charge as we were the only ones there. We only stayed for one night as we were traveling around Britain. Breakfast was good and as a vegetarian, I was well catered for.

The parking was not so good as it was street parking and difficult to park right outside the guest house. I had to park in a side street which meant having to lug two heavy suitcases some distance.

Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean and tidy.

A group of us stayed for a rainy weekend in Weymouth but the rooms at the Knights Rest were clean and had everything we needed. Location was about a 15 minute walk from the beach or a £5 taxi journey so was close enough for us to get to everything. Breakfast was lovely with a seemly never ending supply of tea and toast accompanying the cooked breakfast. Alison was very friendly when booking and brilliant as a host when we were there. A real find, we were all so pleased with A Knights Rest.

Location - too far to amenities Very limited car parking - when checking in had to walk a mile in the rain, but luckily found a park in evening.

Great location with a short walk to the sea front. Allison made us feel very welcome. The rooms were really lovely and the breakfast was very very nice! Would definitely stay again.

a warm welcome on arrival followed by good advice as to resort facilities, where to eat, what to see. An excellent breakfast set us up for the day and the walk around monkey world, our reason for the visit. We will certainly use this address again in the future.

Alison the proprietor was lovely and was so keen to suggest places to visit. It was a really friendly, nice atmosphere and our room was perfect with really nice touches including a bedside lamp each, biscuits in the room as well as tea and coffee and a hairdryer! The breakfast in the morning was divine and plenty of it - definitely a 10 out of 10
