cannot find a reception
The apartment was very comfortable and had everything that was needed for our stay. Being able to cook our own meals was a great bonus as this allowed for flexibility. Being able to relax in comfortable chairs was a plus as most hotel rooms lack this facility. A great location too!!!
There was nothing to dislike
Location is great (nearby the bay, Doctor Who, BBC, and pretty much everything else). The apartment we stayed in was spacious, very well appointed, very clean, bed was amazingly comfortable. We had a washer and dryer in our unit (great, but allow lots of time for the dryer to work). Secure location with great access to amenities. Steven checked us in and and was a wealth of advice about the 'hidden gems' around us in terms of restaurants and things to do.
Difficult to reach via the Cardiff Central station, the bus routes are very confusing. Where you're told to check in is some distance from where you'll be staying (lugging the luggage is tiresome). Rules can seem strict (quiet hours, cleaning up after yourself before you leave). Please put more than one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom!
I loved the location and home concept.
Shampoo and cleaning tools were deficient. And it fets hot when sleeping. There is no AC
Great location .
Not clean there was dust every where and the bedding did not seem to be fresh and clean !
Perfect location in a buzzing area.
A lot of traffic noise also at night.
Fitted out to the highest standards.
Location at the bay, friendly staff.
Bathroom a little mouldy. Some of the apartments are privately owned. We had very loud neighbours - partied every night through and threw trash on our balcony including roaches (NOT cockroaches).
Excellent central location. Comfortable and well equipment apartments, really good value for money. Got discount vouchers for parking and restaurants which was useful. Thank you
Only 1 minor thing - apartments could do with fans or air con because they do get warm and if you have windows open the traffic is noisy, especially in the morning.
Location was excellent!
Road noise was a little loud, mattress on cot wasn't very comfortable.
Staff, location, facilities, cost
Having my credit card and photo id photographed!
Location. Style and furnishings of apartments. Very clean.
No hooks behind doors - need more place to hang wet towels/dressing gowns. Kitchen not fully equipped. Saucepans/frying pans very cheap and not easy to clean. Should invest in more expensive non-stick cookware.
Rooms appointed very nicely, comfortable, clean. Great location, walk right out the door you are at Millennium Centre.
In the central of the bay great for pubs/restaurants and the theatre.
Amazing location. Clean and well equipped.
Cheap tacky cutlery!!
Fantastic location. Wonderful for the price. Easy to come and go. Love the decor. Gentleman who met us to give us the keys was delightful! Overall had a great experience and will recommend to others and likely stay here again.
There isn't anything we did not like about the apartment. But here are some suggestions that may help with future guests. -Maybe more direction on how to get there to better show a cab driver. - Key pad for door lock? That way we aren't expected to call someone when we arrive to get the keys. Plus, not everyone is coming from Europe or UK so to have to turn your phone on from airplane mode and make a call, short or not, costs money. A keypad system would cut back on anyone having to wait for guests to arrive and no key to return when you leave.
Spacious clean rooms
Location apartment was overlooking 3 derelict buildings on crossroads couldn't open the windows, weekend was extremely hot but road was so noisy . Alarm from building next door was going all night long
Nice and quiet apartment and very friendly staff! Near to many restaurants and attractions. It's easy to go by bus, train, ferry or taxi to Cardiff City centre.
We had an apartment with a balcony but there was no nice view (only walls). We knew that before so it's no problem. If you would like to have a nice view, maybe you can choose another room in the building although this apartment was very quiet!
Fabulous location, right next to The Millennium Center & walking distance of Cardiff Bay,the Dr Who exhibition & loads of fantastic bars and restaurants. Easy travelling into Cardiff. Pierhead street car park is a 2-3 minute walk & we had a discount token given to us, also 20% discount on some restaurants and bars if you show your key ( we made a good saving using this) The flat was lovely with a fully kitted kitchen, Wii, DVD player, & 2 bedroom ( 1 en-suite), just a little niggle - the blinds in the bedrooms don't close properly and have some gaps, but it was just about bearable. Beds were comfortable & shower was fab. We had a great view of the Millennium center, and a little balcony to sit on & enjoy the view. We had a lovely welcome, we just had to ring and let them know we were arriving and a very pleasant chap ( Steve) came and met us with the keys and explained all we needed to know. We did have a lovely stay, and we would gladly stay again in the future and will be recommending to friends.
excellent location. clean apartment. easy access. good bars and restaurants on the bay.
no contact from guy with the keys until we were outside the door. fridge had a smell (but got used to it)
Location, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness and apartment facilities
On a busy corner so car noise a bit loud when windows and balcony door open - which was needed as beautiful weather!
Bathroom Close to ameaties
Dining table too small Dark room light on all day Felt clostraphobic
Central, well appointed, clean
Bath was difficult to get out of, very slippery and no rubberised bath mat or hand rails.
we have stayed here before the location is brillant and the studio apartments are well equipped
the cleaner must have seen the headboard had fallen off but hadnt got it fixed the balcony is only looking over the internal space shame we couldnt see the bay from the room
Perfect in almost every way. Nice little flat, well-stocked, clean, comfortable, excellent wifi, good water pressure, quiet, really nice building manager, top location....
No enough electrical plugs, but that's a common problem in the UK - had to plug computer and phone in in the kitchen as there was only one available socket in the main room. Also the room was a bit dark in the daytime, but we were mainly out and about.
