Great location with very good facilities and view !! Easy walking distance to the beach and main attractions ! Loved the flexibility that the apartment gave us and it felt like a very comfortable home from home
Excellent comfort and great for the free Wifi. Kitchen well stocked so you can actually cook.
Where it is was VERY misleading. On the map showing in Booking.com, it shows it IN the city itself - that in fact are the offices NOT the apartment. Apartment was on the edge of the city limit - the OTHER side of the marina. Also we had to change apartment as the first one had a very bad leak which made the carpet and bed wet with constant dripping - a fact which they were aware of but still let it out anyways! It was an old leak because the ceiling was damage and dark patches could be seen on the carpet. For the price, I had expected better, very poor value for money.
Location was fantastic. The apartment was very comfortable with lots of space (two bedrooms). Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Close to a very good restaurant would highly recommend la Pailla.
Heaters in bedrooms didn't work so agent provided heaters but they weren't appropriate to use with younge children around. The toaster didn't work but we did get provided with a new one once we raised the issue.
Warm and well maintained apartment with modern fixtures and well equipped kitchen and new appliances
Early check out and late check in
Position Spacious for a studio Friendly and very helpful staff member Kitchen very well equipped Good layout Very clean Good heating system
No dishwasher Mattress only just OK Small vegetable knife would be useful
Close to the centre without the noise Lovely and light and toasty warm, under-floor heating in the bathroom was particularly delightful Kitchen very well equipped and bed very comfy, if a bit low to the ground St David's car park opposite is free on a Sunday
MAJOR GRIPE is that I specifically booked the apartment because the website stated a BATH. Sadly there wasn't one. I believe it also stated a 'dishwasher' but there wasn't one of those either. Other problem was that there was nothing on the building to indicate we were at the right place, it just says 'Excelsior' on the door
Position to the city
Drip from the roof hitting the windowsill, temporary fix using towels! No sleep the first night as a consequence. Bed with no slats that had to be replaced. Room was obviously unfit for purpose so why were we given it? An alternative room was offered but didn't materialise. We will be taken the matter further.
Ideal location, well stocked appartment ideal as a base for our stay.
The church bells, but I'm sure we'd get use to them next time!
I particularly liked the location and was very happy with the studio apartment and facilities. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Paul s very nice and helpful. The flat s great. Has everything, great kitchen, great washing machine, great shower, warm room, great central location, only 5 mins walk from main bus station. So nice!
The location is excellent very close to the bus stops , market and is in the city centre. Very good for the families. Swansea is a quiet town. You hardly find a restaurant near this place opening after 5:30pm. It is good that you can find a place to cook a proper meal for your kid. Paul was very informative. He gave me many info. on where to go .
We stayed in Excelsior. The door of the shower place has problem to keep the water not spreading out to the floor. and no daily cleaning service.
Beautiful views and a good location. Bed linen clean.
Apartment had not been cleaned! Floors not vacuumed. Bin in bathroom had NOT been emptied - sanitary towels left from previous occupants - so disgusting! One of sofas had something spilled on it - dried out. Apartment needs updating.
Location was good close to everything.
Any contact with company reps was by phone,no personal contact.
A Space In The City staff went out of their way to make sure I was settled into the accommodation comfortably. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and perfectly situated for exploring Swansea.
Not too far to get to restaurants, cafes or Swansea city. Clean, modern apartment and a helpful manager. Waking up to views of the sea through the bedroom full length glass doors (this is the South Quay apartment)
The immediate view from the windows is of a car park, and the area itself is a little soulless.
Beautiful view over the marina having space it entertain friends
Location was great to explore Swansea and the grower peninsular. Clean but dust on back of the bed and carpet didn't look recently hoovered.
Advert says dishwasher, dishwasher tabs provided. But no dishwasher. Luckily I brought my own with me.
pick up from train station by Paul Evans and shown apartment
church bells peeling 7-10pm first night
Very well equipped ,comfortable modern apartment. Very close to restaurants, shops , beach, walks etc.
Having to pay extra for parking, when each apartment had an allocated space anyway. £5.00 a day a bit steep.
Really nice apartment, we found every thing in the kitchen
No parking on site, had to pay an additional money for that... not good
Absolutely fabulous accommodation! Value for money and great location.
Closeness to beach, town centre, links to rest of Wales. Walking distance shops, bars, restaurants, very quiet, clean and views over the marina.Free parking and very helpful manager.
Location to city and harbour location were great - very quiet.
Directions were almost non-existent. Apparently we were supposed to receive an email before we arrived. It arrived the day of departure. Had to make 3 phone calls on our Australian mobile (not looking forward to the bill) to meet up with someone to let us into the apartment. It needed a good clean; crockery etc was basic; the dishwasher smelt and we had to clean it before use (using our supplies as there were no cleaning products); and we only had one bath towell. Would not recommend it to anyone. Bed was almost a mattress on the floor and too low for us with knee issues.
