The location was perfect for my visit.
Awful room, looking directly at kitchen extractors, heating and/or air purifying systems. Unhelpful, unprofessional staff. I checked in and after seeing the room , checked straight out. No alternative offered by staff.
Staff pleasant and friendly Convenient location to visit UK Wolf Conservation Trust Comfortably warm in all rooms
Hour and a half wait for dinner one evening - due to understaffing Being woken at 5am by the alarm of someone along the corridor No wifi in rooms No lift
Poor bed, cheap pillows, shower that was impossible to regulate properly or safely (could have been scalded)
Cozy mm stay with easy access
Wifi was not working in the ground floor room, needed to hang around reception area.
Staff were friendly Location was good
It is the staff that I believe make a stay a pleasant one. I could not have wished for more helpful and pleasant staff who went above and beyond their call of duty. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The hotel was extremely clean and warm.
Location was great for my requirements but taxi even 6 mins down the road was £18. Just glad the hotel was good value for money!
rooms bar facilities bar staff
Location and Price
Busy main road expensive food and drink
It was convenient for the wedding we were going to about 5 miles away.
We were with two other couples. We were told there was a 30 minute wait for dinner but it was 45 minutes !! The gammon was excellent but the fish left a bit to be desired.
Easy to find on A4 Good parking Small but comfortable rooms Reasonable English (or) continental breakfast
Really is in the middle of nowhere and you need to drive to the nearest villages, pubs or restaurants. Restaurant is open for evening meals but menu and food is equivalent to that of a cheap pub.
The place is simply great!!! Great value for money!!! People who work there are great and very helpful. I had really a great time while I stayed at this hotel.
Location was the only problem. Far away from the central Reading
Price and convenience
Damp smell in corridors and rooms
the noise from the faulty gutter gave rise to the worst nights sleep I have ever endured
The cleaness was great the staff were helpful and the sleep was great with a comfortable bed.
The shower built into the taps with the bath pressure was really low. (room20) but the week before I stayed in room 21 which was great.
Good quality budget accommodation. Friendly staff. Hotel is very clean
Food choice and quality excellent. Great breakfast. Close to the kennet and Avon canal for a stroll.
poor WiFi connection
Nice member of staff.
My room was next to the main road, very noise, impossible to sleep or relax.
Good value hotel Clean room well presented
Location far from amenities
Value for money, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, quietness of hotel
Shower took a long time to get warm! No remote for the TV!
the room smelt of feet and sweat as i walked in and was strong enough to stay with me during the whole night! the shower had very little pressure and was freezing cold. the room in general was dirty and left you feeling uneasy.
Cardboard walls very loud throughout the night
Nothing too like .. It is the hotel from hell
£13 for sea bass that was actually a packet fillet from Iceland and was microwaved along with thecfrozen veg and stale mashed potatoes. Manager informed me this was the standard for the area and offered me a refund... I refused as he clearly missed the point. Barman too busy playing on Internet behind reception. Rooms are a disgrace and AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
Very clean and tidy room as was the hotel. Pleasantly surprised by standard of accommodation against the price charged.
Bedroom interior and beds had seen better days. No biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities. Very much geared up to cater for the business user and more of a motel than hotel.
Room was clean and quiet.
Food very good
