Excellent hosts, comfortable & immaculate rooms, top class food in lovely conservatory setting, great value, easy to find.

Didnt want to leave!

The dinner meal was amazing! Truly 5 star quality at 3 star prices! Ted and Dot were wonderful hosts.

The rooms were large,well appointed,comfortable and warm. The shower (important this)was excellent. Breakfasts were substantial and of good quality. The hosts could not have been more attentive and helpful.

My only reservation concerned the traffic noise, but this was our fault as we only discovered the second radiator as we left. This would have allowed us to turn the heating down and so shut the windows thus reducing external noise.

You have to accept it is a few miles out of town - but if you do then, the bus service is great and a taxi back from the centre is £9. So we didn't find it to be a real issue.

The welcome wa superb, the food very enjoyabloe and the hosts affable throughout. The hotel is well situated for the city and considering the cost with breakfast great value for money. Whenever we need to be in Edinburgh we will stay at the Arran Lodge.

Dot and Ted were very welcoming and the breakfast was very good.

We had a very warm welcome. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was ideal. The evening meal was delicious. It was good value for money.

It is on a noisy road but with the windows closed it was not a problem and did not stop us having a good sleep although the room was too warm at times.

Made to feel at home by the wonderful hosts, meals at the restaurant were excellent and great value. The rooms are modernised tastefully and kept very clean. The best B&B I have stayed in by far!

Very friendly and efficient service, modern clean rooms with large screen televisions and excellent bathrooms. Breakfasts are first class. There is very good off street parking available.

The place just felt so homely, and the staff were just great couldn't have asked for better. The food was top class & we would highly recommend it to family & friends to stay & we will be back again. There was also a convenient bus stop right beside the Lodge for easy access to the city centre

We were greeted by Ted & Dot, a very welcoming couple, who went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. The room was large and comfortable with excellent amenities. The breakfasts set you up for a day of exploring and the evening dinner was more exemplary cuisine. As the bus stop was right outside the Lodge it is very convenient for travelling around the area without having to use your car. A wonderful holiday and brilliant Tattoo.

A small fridge in the bedrooms would be useful.

Dot and Ted owners of Aaron Lodge are fab couldnt do more to make our stay great. Would definately reccomend it infact our brother is going to stay because we enjoyed it so much!!!!

The room is Very clean, the stuff are very friendly.

From the moment our group of 4 arrived (2 couples), we were greeted by Ted (the owner) with a friendly and warm Scottish welcome. The rooms and service were wonderful. From the outside, we didn't expect the rooms to be of such high calibre so it was a lovely surprise to have a little extra luxury. The little touches of bathrobes and slippers certainly adds to making this place a cut above the rest. It was the most comfortable place that we stayed in throughout our short trip to the Scotland. Aaron Lodge was also very convenient to the city center. We had a car and it was easy to drive and find city centre parking. However, just as convenient there is a bus outside the hotel. It helped staying a little outside of the city (10 mins if that, by car) so you felt as if you could breathe a little better with some green around you. The breakfast was very good - a choice of hot or cold meals. There is also a very good restaurant and bar available. We would recommend this place to anyone - from couples to families and we would definitely stay there again without doubt.

Parking was a little tight but hardly a negative.

the accommodation was excellent nice furniture and very good bathroom, the owner is very friendly and attentive, breakfasts were first class and coffee on tap in the room very acceptable, in all a very nice comfortable place to stay without any pressure on you at all.

Did not feel the evening meals did the facility justice.
