Score from 150 reviews Excellent
Located equal walking distance from some of the museums, the tube and the Royal Albert Hall, this hotel is a must for late shows at the Hall and museum visit the next day. Room rates are reasonable too and they seem to have a variety of rooms ..like triples and family choices.
Lovely spacious room. Fluffy bathrobes. Excellent free wifi connection. Location - convenient for museums and Royal Albert Hall.
Disappointing and overpriced breakfast.
Ideal location... 5 mins walk from the Albert Hall. Staff were outstanding.
Rooms starting to look their age and the finish isn't to the standard of a 4star.
Location was fantastic for Royal Albert Hall and museums. Excellent choice for breakfast. staff very helpful
We were in room 206 and the air conditioning was a little noisy
Location really good for our needs .Nice decor in reception areas . Good food & reasonable price in bar area , although atmosphere nil.
Bedroom temps. too warm & unable to reduce air con. to lower temp. Bedroom too small for double bed where difficulty walking passed . Not comfortable getting around room.
The room size was a joke. The bed was up against both walls leaving no room to pass. On several occasions the TV on the wall got a bang.
The queens gate hotel is perfectly situated for a trip to the Royal Albert hall. The staff are very polite and helpful, they helped us book for winter wonderland and printed our tickets for us. Nice breakfast.
Bathroom is a little tight, but everything else was fine
the gym was not available even though it was listed in the facilities
Very central in the heart of London, walking distance of 3 tube stations, shops, museums and parks. Very friendly staff, clean tidy rooms, comfortable beds.
No restaurant as such only room service for meals other than breakfast. Rooms were a fair size but the shape meant there was little space to walk around the bed, lots of wasted space. Would definitely stay again.
Friendly clean hotel.room was spacious big enough for three adults.Had breakfast as part of deal lovely section.
The fact that they charge the day you leave but also take a swipe of your card on arrival so two lots of money are going out of your account contacted my bank to be told the first payment would be released after seven days . Don't know why they do this
The hotel was well placed for the RAH, only 5 minutes walk away. Also easy walking distance to Kensington Palace/Park, the Natural History Muesum and the Albert & Victoria Muesum. We also walked to Harrods which is also nearby the above venues. The staff in the breakfast area were excellent and attentive to ensuring all items were replenished and work areas clean & tidy. The hotel offers "freshly squeezed orange juice" which is fab! We had a room on the 5th floor - Room 514, which was lovely and quiet. We would stay there again if going to another concert at the RAH! On this visit we stayed for 2 nights.
The only thoughts we had for improvements at breakfast would be - offering "muesli" and a different "cooked egg" option ie: fried egg as only scrambled available when we stayed.
The location Warm, modern, comfortable room. Great towels. Good bedding Clean Helpful staff Good shower and really hot water Good value for quality and location
Room was a bit small. Free WiFi very slow. Breakfast £15.50 extra per person (so we ate down the road)
Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and it was nice to stay there. I will probably book a room there again.
Good value for money
Reception and bar not very inviting
Good service, good breakfast, comfy beds.
Drafty at the bed nearest the window. Wet and misty window in the morning.
Hotel was on a quiet street by London standards. Close to Royal Albert Hall. Found a nice pub nearby Hyde Park a short walk away as was the tube
On leaving the R A H. We couldnt find anywhere for a late bite other than express supermarkets post 11pm. Or maybe we didnt look hard enough......
All excellemt, optimal location if to go to Hyde park and Royal Albert Hall.
bedroom not warm
Really comfy bed, smart modern and clean, great location for royal albert hall
Spotlessly clean, very helpful friendly staff. Food is excellent and beds comfortable. Good value for money.
The room was very cold when we arrived. Took a while to sort out.
Location. Friendly staff and comfortable bedrooms. The provision of more food choices in bar is very welcome. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice, catering for most people's needs.
Have stayed here for several years and this was the first time we have been disturbed by noise from the room above. The lack of bedroom carpets made it sound as if a herd of elephants were moving about above us. This happened during the night and very early in the mornings. Not good when you are on holiday.
all of it. Have already recommended to my other friend. if good value next year will book again without any hesitation.
great location friendly staff clean nice decor and good amenities
rooms were very small, but to be expected for such a reasonably priced city hotel. We stayed in one of the front facing rooms and traffic throughout the night was a little noisy (presumably the rooms at the back of the hotel are a lot quieter). Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper!
The location was ideal for our purposes was excellent.
The room was a bit small with everything you need but not necessarily fit for purpose. The shower cubicle was so small you had to open the door to bend over. The tv was on the wrong wall with nowhere to sit and watch it other than the side of the bed. Value for money 'NO'.
Very convenient for the Albert Hall
