Short walking distance from Paddington Station; short running/walking distance from Hyde Park; plenty of choice of eateries; well lit, busy area.
Single room really pokey but sufficient for needs for one night
No wifi and poor phone signal
the hotel was perfectly situated for easy access to the attractions we were visiting that week.
because I was supporting a person with autism, my manger and I had phoned up and filled in the special request part of booking on line, that we would need x2 room next to each other or opposite one another due to the challenging behaviour of the young man I was supporting. I needed to be close by, in case he needed my support or help, but the money and booking was taken by the hotel and they neglected to inform us that this was not possible, which put a lot anxiety on both myself as the support worker and the individual being supported. which caused the holiday to be not as enjoyable as we had hope for.
Location and left luggage services
Room and bath were just ok
Helpful Augusto in reception. Parking facility. Open spacious reception area. Comfortable bed in a clean room.
Very small bathroom but imaculate. Slow lift.
Close to Paddington Station and bus routes. Clean room, small but a good price on booking.coom.
In the morning, the cleaning staff had a very long and loud conversation right outside our room. We were on the lower level close to the laundry. The morning we left the elevator would not work and we had to carry our heavy baggage up the quirky stairs and hallways.
Small awkward to get to room upstairs behind fire doors.
The ease of booking. Location ideal.
The location was very good.
There was a terrible smell in the bedroom! The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller.
The Hotel satisfied my needs perfectly. The room was a little small but provided all facilities and the Hotel staff were charming, so accommodating and would do anything to help any request.
Some of the staff barely looked at you when you were at the counter. No good morning, good evening, etc. Fifteen minutes free internet for a 3 day visit...an insult! We had free internet all the time in small villages in Wales! One night a guest was very noisy and the staff did not want to do anything about my complaint.
friendly staff great location
the room was small the elevator was not working one step in the staircase was rotten poor breakfast no free wi fi
Me and my wife were there, great spot, very clean. I think this is best buy for london regarding the prices of everything else. ALSO; great plus is a baggage room when we checked out and needed some space to place the bags. I recomend this hotel and would be glad to come again.
They don't care if you have a special request written, to the property, while booking. I've asked a larger room because of clautrophobia. They didn't care. The rooms ARE SMALL so the price i paid is huge for the conditions offered by this property.
The location is really excellent.
The ironing location have no cam.
The hotel had everything we needed and was good value for the price paid. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and it's close to the tube for easy access to the sights.
The rooms were on the small slide. OK for a short stay but not large enough if one was stating more than 2/3 days.
The location was great and the reception was very nice. If it had been a cold evening then the warmth of the room would probably have been lovely.
The room was hot so a window needed to be left open - we then had the sound of pouring water ALL night - plus other residents/staff as our window opened onto a small quadrangle. The bathroom was very small & there was no tap in the sink.
The location was very close to a tube station and the neighbourhood was safe and nice. The breakfast buffet was good.
In the begining they put me to sleep in a bedroom at the basement ! The room was facing directly the laundry room and the staff working there were constantly yelling and shouting, making noises during the whole day and looking inside my room at me. I had no privacy at all. Also, there was a water leakage through the ceiling driping water down to my carpet. The room smelled. I asked for a transfer and they gave me a room on the 4th floor with insects creaping down the floor on the carpet. I kept killing them at night with my slippers. None of the rooms was cleaned properly. The window latch was broken and large balls of dust were stuck on the carpet, especially at the edges. Also, when I asked them to help me with printing my ticket back home, they didn't offer any help. Instead, they asked me to pay GBP 0.50 for every paper page printed using their computer. Also, the lift broke down on the second day there, and for the next 7 days I had to take another lift to the hotel next door, then use the emergency fire exit to get to my building in order to avoid walking up 4 floors. None of the staff was truly polite, very cold attitude, only cared to receive money.
very, very small
Cleanliness and location to paddington station
Small room if you want a longer stay, average area!
the position, really close to paddington and hyde park
room was extremely small
Staff and entrance hall very welcoming.
The ensuite was so small I struggled to use it.
Wifi is too costly with many free options within 100 meters
Price and convenience
Cleaning personnel making noise too early in the morning. There was obvious tension between the person selling tickets/tours and a reception staff member. A verbal confrontation.
