Beautiful location, very welcoming.
Hosts were wonderful, made us feel like family . Felt like VIPS.Didn't want to leave. Gave us a lift to Baxterly to a lovely village pub The Rose Inn. Couldn't do enough for us !
Nothing to not like. No negatives whatsoever.
I loved the huge room, the friendliness of the owners, the peace and quiet the beautiful view and surroundings.
The perfect break away, to allow the country to replenish both the soul and the mind.... Great Hosts..... Lovely cooked breakfast...... The kids loved the farm animals at the doorstep and the lake outside our window... Huge bedrooms!
Nothing to dislike!
Enjoyed the stay and had a fantastic huge room. It wasn't en-suite but did have a private bathroom. Breakfast was good and recommend this B&B.
Didn't have a door bell and even after knocking on the door without answer felt a little uncomfortable to just walk into someone's house.
I wasn't able to fault Abbey Farm on anything. The service, room, facilities and location were all lovely. The epitome of service with a smile.
Beautiful location . Big rooms.
Excellent quiet location, huge bedroom and bathroom & comfy double bed. Friendly family atmosphere and a superb breakfast. Will definitely be returning at some point for a weekend break rather than on business
Though I was there for Business, it was right from the beginning like feeling in Holidays at a good friends home. Jenny and Bill are very friendly and familiar people, who do everything to feel comfortable. It is a really beatiful place in the middle of countryside and a good place to calm down after a busy day. This is something really different and refreshing to the 08/15 Hotel accomodations which are always quite the same. You should just think about that an dbe sure that this is the Kind of accomodation, you want to have. I really would enjoy another long weekend there with my Family as a holiday Weekend.
As mentioned in the title, this was exact the Kind of accomodation, I was looking for and I have nothing to complain about. This would not work for somebody, who is looking for adrenaline, speed and party time.
A beautiful house in a really beautiful setting.
Though the bathroom was private it wasn't actually en-suite. We found that we had paid £10 over the asking price of Abbey Farm through booking with Booking.com which was a bit annoying.
This was without doubt the most beautiful B&B I have ever stayed at. Bill & Jen and their family were so friendly I felt like one of the family within minutes, the setting is wonderfully cathartic, a true farmhouse home set in historic grounds. Large spacious rooms, super comfy bed and fantastic home cooking. The sense of well-being derived from just one night was incredible, residential stays should be available on the NHS!
Not being able to justify more than two nights this time!
Beautiful setting, comfortable room, friendly people.
Went up from London for a wedding at the nearby zoo. The owners were very welcoming, attentive and went beyond the call of duty! Would highly recommend.
Everything!! I'm Not one for doing reviews but this place deserves one. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and they couldn't do enough for us!! The grounds and building are spectacular as the full English breakfast was gorgeous!! The rooms were clean spacious with comfy beds! Wouldn't think twice about going back ad would recommend to anyone!!! Thanks for icy a brilliant stay!
Nothing at all!
Beautiful location the grounds were gorgeous and the bedroom was spacious and very comfortable.
The only thing was the shower didn't work but they did explain that on arrival.
Easy too use working wifi, HUGE room, lovely views, secluded and quiet, lovely staff, solo helpful. Excellent breakfast made to order, home made jams. I slot like a log, woke up in plenty of time and had a lovely breakfast that set me up for the day, It will be my first port of call whenI am up that way.
Faultless. HIghly recommended.
The location and the couple that run the place were the best!!! It was an oasis from all the rush of the motorways and busy towns for us. It is genuiely old without being spoilt by major modernation that takes away that special essence. Plus the bonus of the view of castle in the distance, ancient abbey ruins right next door and a quaint church with out the cues and parking hassles of other visits. It exceeded our expections and Jenny and Bill are national treasures.
amazing building steeped in history which the couple were really keen to share. Excellent service and very accommodating hosts
Was there to go into town for a 50th . The owners offered me a lift to town to save getting a taxi. Very friendly people
Interesting historic buildings
No mobile telephone reception
A wonderful B&B in a beautiful peaceful location with such lovely friendly hosts. Absolutely perfect and very handy for the NEC and National Motorcycle Museum and all other attractions near Birmingham. Don't hesitate to book! We shall be back as soon as we can!
Didn't receive any confirmation email or letter. As for technical reasons my schedule with name and details went missing a few days before - there was no way of me going to this B+B.
The homeliness of the welcome the fresh local breakfast and the large bedroom and bathroom it was home from home and we were made very welcome
The owners were lovely and very helpful. They let us in early to get ready for the wedding we were attending nearby. The house itself was full of history and the room, bed and bathroom were all enormous!
Friendly and welcoming and most importantly accommodating
Found out it would of been cheaper booking direct with the b and b
