I stayed at the Abbey Grange Hotel for three nights . My room , which was a single en - suite , was very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean . The flat screen TV was excellent as were the tea making facilities provided . Plenty of space to move around in the room as well . The dining room and small bar area were also very nicely furnished . There was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu and it was served at your table quickly . My overall impression of this hotel was excellent , and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again . Very good value for money .
There wasn't anything that I didn't like .
The owner, the room and ensuite, the breakfast menu
The noise from the road
Warm welcome Good food and service Comfortable room and all set in pleasant surroundings
Can't think of anything We would come again
Room clean and comfortable
The gentleman who was on duty in the morning was friendly, helpful and polite and presented my breakfast promptly and ordered me a taxi efficiently. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean.
The hotel was rather scruffy and the first impression was negative. There was an unpleasant stale smell in the entrance ?damp?old cooking smells ?cigarette smoke. The bedroom was very small and the toilet/ bathroom was tinyand very cramped. The lock on the door was faulty. the breakfast was very basic. I would not stay here again.
Lovely room decor and outlook; tea & coffee making facilities; lovely cooked b'fast; friendly owner.
Wifi was very slow; bed was a bit short for my hubby; no reception, just a key at the bar; you can only check in till 21.00; Room facing main road so a bit noisy, but no problems there.
location, helpful, pleasant.
Tad tired, no menu's for breakfast.
Lovely, spacious & friendly.

Very comfortable, lovely room. I do like everywhere spotlessly clean and our room was !
Couldn't get the tv to work..but we weren't really in there much, so didn't bother asking further.
Friendly staff and even though work was being done we did not hear any noise at all.
Needs some modernising but for a place to lay your head for a night it is perfectly fine.

Comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly staff and all for a very reasonable fee.
Slightly concerned that no member of staff appeared to be in the premises overnight, although they were next door.
Free wifi helpful. Good budget hotel, clean and comfortable.
Needs some more modernisation especially in public areas. A bit dark and dingy in these areas.
The bedroom was ok
No catering Unuseable shower, red hot or ice cold. No bar facility. Breakfast finished at 8.30 No atmosphere. Without question the worst hotel i have every stayed in.
