Room size was good. Staff were friendly. WIFI was free HD television was good Panini bar snack was almost Inedible though there was a wedding on. View from window was poor as a lot of tiles had been dumped on the floor and it looked like a tip. Breakfast was too expensive per head. One of window openers needed attention. No flannel in bathroom.

Nice rooms at a good price. Cut above normal budget price hotels. Comfortable beds good bathrooms pleasant reception . Breakfast was ok but not great. At the price I think you should offer fresh tea and coffee not vacuum flask water and tea bags I phoned in advance to enquire about booking a 7 seater taxi on Saturday evening and was told no need to bother it could be organised on the day. In fact no 7 seater a available and we had to have 2 taxis there and back

Friendly Staff, location near friends we visit regularly, well presented room, good features and very clean. Reasonable Price. We had rattling door on our room which kept us awake but it was a windy night, and I imagine its teething troubles as it was a newly refurbished room.

The venue was close by and mercure was the nearest. I certainly did not like the bed. It was far too high for my 4'11 height. I had enormous problem getting on it. The breakfast was very basic and did not worth the £27 we paid for two. The service was not great either. It was a struggle to carry our luggage to 2nd floor. There were no porters and we were not given any assistance. If we have another function to attend at the same venue we might book mercure again as it is the nearest but will definitely not have any breakfast.

Comfortable room and good sized bed Quiet part of the hotel overlooking golf course Staff very pleasant and eager to please Dealt with price discrepancy professionally Easy access from motorway Room (162) and stairs leading to it freezing cold. Carpet at bottom of stairs had serious tripping hazard. Security/fire escape door opposite our room not properly closed. I closed it when we came back at 10pm. Next morning it was open again as was the maintenance staff workshop door next to it (connection?). Bathroom fan and a/c incredibly noisy We ordered the Observer when we booked in (3pm) but no paper delivered/available for collection in the morning. Receptionist blamed night staff! Discrepancy of £4 p/p for breakfast between internet and reception Too few staff on duty at breakfast and you need to find a way of keeping scrambled egg and bacon hot or at least warm! You need to update staff on current prices when they recommend taking a taxi to Stony Stratford rather than driving. It cost double what the duty manager suggested!

When I finally located the hotel the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, a very good end to tiring day! Flew into Stanstead airport that day, And not knowing the Milton Keynes area(And no sat nav) it was very difficult to locate the hotel, even through I had researched the area prior to arrival.

The ambience was fantastic and the contemporary design of the room was just about right not too minimalist. I had to lug all my luggage from the first floor room which, I didn't mind but the fact that their was no luggage trolley was disappointing.

The Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very large and comfortable and had all the facilities you would expect. The breakfast was delicious and we felt we could leisurely spend time talking about the wedding we had attended at the Golf Club. The noise from the toilet filling at frequent intervals during the night, whether it had been used or not.
