handy location for what we wanted the hotel is clean but very dated. We were allocated a disabled room which we didnt need, kept banging arms when in the shower.we asked on arrival if need to book time for dinner, told no. when we went to eat, we were told should have booked. had to wait 3/4 hour before order was taken. the whole meal took over two hours. very disapointed as meal night before was excellent. |

The restaurant staff were superb. Having booked a single occupancy double room I was charged as two people. I was told that was correct by the receptionist but heard contrary reports from other guests! |

Felt welcome as soon as we arrived however was surprised the main entrance didnt have electric doors would of been easier when holding bags. Reception staff made us feel welcome. The carpet in our room was very tired and dirty in areas. And we also wasnt impressed that as a married couple we slept in two single beds pushed together to make a double bed! |

There were 6 people at reception waiting, with only one person serving, another member of staff appeared from behind the scenes and then walked off without serving. Leaving people waiting. Took approx 25 mins to check in. |

The staff were very friendly - thats about it. I have written a letter of complaint to the hotel manager Ben Elder and will not divulge any further infomration here other than I will not be staying there again and the embaraassments that they caused me has just cost them betwenn 20-35K worth of business next year. |

Convenient location and cost were the main factors. Also, I have stayed here before on a number of occasions and find it very good. |

convenient, easy to find and park, simple lay out,all the basics in the right place the leisure facilities were a bit of a joke. Not well publicised because they are so poor, didn't bother to use them in the end. |

The reception and restaurant were nice. I liked the art in reception. The rooms were old fashioned and in need of updating. During dinner the smokers kept using the door to the right of the serving area causing a cold draft. |

It's a fairly quiet place with a swimming pool and sauna and free parking with cameras. There's also a bar and restaurant so it's got all you need after a long day. It needs a clean up and modernising. It's hard to find, tucked into a housing estate, and there's nowhere to walk to. |

My daughter lives locally and we stayed at the hotel during a visit to her. We spent little time there and it was fine and reasonable. The cost of breakfast. We would have had breakfast if it was more reasonable. |

The value for money and access to a restaurant - altough not used on this occassion. Staff were excellent. Finding 3 black hairs in the bed - rather off putting. This is not a complaint - just a heads up re need to be careful re 'stray hairs'.Tiredness of the decor, stains/ marks on walls. Would recommend with warning re decor, so expectations are realistic. Suspect/ hope bed was a one off issue. |

You can smoke in rooms. The double bed requested was 2 singles put together which was not comfortable at all! the heating in the room was difficult to work out, however eventually worked. Throughout the whole night you can heer the boiler or some tap working from other rooms which was very disturbing. Overall not a very pleasant stay - breakfast very expensive! |
