Stayed the night for a show at Shepard's Bush O2, brilliant location only about a minutes walk away so great if you are seeing a concert/gig that may run late. Receptionist was absolutely lovely. Brilliant for a couple of young female students who wanted somewhere good value for money, in a great location that they felt safe getting to late after a show.
Only downside was that there was a bit of construction next door which woke us up in the morning about 9am
Cheap, good location near the underground and across the road from the quite stunning Westfield Shopping Centre.
Bad hygiene, television didn't work, uncomfortable beds, had to ring the doorbell for 5 minutes upon first arrival because the only member of staff was still asleep. Nice enough fellow though, his English was somewhat lacking.
Comfort Rooms Price Pleasant staff
Erratic wi-fi connection (or lack of) in rooms. Had to enter the corridor to use wi-fi. Thin walls.
pulled up the bed sheets to find an ear wig crawling under the sheets, needless to say it was a very uncomfortable nights sleep. the following day another dead earwig was found inside a shoe which was kept on the floor that night, makes me think how many were actually in the room. no breakfast offered and no additional facilities, very old and needs modernised with paint new furniture and carpets
Close to a huge shopping mole and a station.
Hot room because of no air conditioning. No wi-fi. Towels were not changed. Noise from nemxt rooms.
Clean, close to tube and bus - good easy to find location
Wireless was patchy in the rooms.
- Good location - Good quality room
- Expensive for the value - Internet slow - No breakfast possibilities in hotel - Credit card payment only for 3% fee
The staff was good The location is good Near shopping center
Very very hot No air condtion No lift You need to go with bags by satires for the third floor
Great location close to the underground and very convenient for exploring London.
Clean and up-to-date. Friendly & helpful staff. Good location, close to tube.
Smallest room I've ever stayed in, but fair enoughh, given the price
Very clean Helpful staff Good location My room was spacious and light
Very weak signal for the wifi The bathroom light has an automatic turn off when it senses no one there but I was in the shower.
Love London ! Thanks to Abbey Hotel for making travelling, shopping, sight seeing, dining, relaxing all so convenient in London. Superb location! Walking distance is less than 5 mins to 2 tubes n a railway station. Hence, visiting all London famous tourist places is as easy as ABC. Save time n money! Across the hotel, shop till you drop dead at the new big shopping mall - from local to designer brands, food courts, 2 supermarkets - Marks & Spencer and Waitrose - fresh fruits etc and great restaurants for example Billls Restaurant and GBK Burger n Jamie's Italian restaurant. A special thanks to the hotel staff named Lofti !! Excellent service for the 8 days we stayed. Never fail us. My husband, daughter n I enjoyed our trip so much.
Great location, clean and well-maintained. Perfectly adequate for a short stay.
We were in a small room in an extension on the ground floor. We were too far away from reception to get any wifi signal. Construction nearby made for a noisy awakening.
Close to Shepherds Bush Market tube, and right across the road from the Westfield Shopping Centre
Wi-Fi connectivity was poor, but otherwise a very pleasant stay
Good location and very clean. WiFi efficient.
Small point, but as a business traveler, there was no practical worktop for laptop and notes. Just a tiny corner table.
good connection with subways,
not easy to find someone in the hotel if you need before 9am
Clean, very close to the famous mall, close to tube.
Smoking area was clean, great staff and very very clean. Was given the key to the main door due to the libertines gig finishing late. Will recommend to everyone
Location- close to everything. Restaurants, shops, tube, train and bus stations. Bed was clean
Rooms a bit small No sound proofing, could hear voices from room above and next door at night. Wi Fi poor in our room (don't get room 4 if you need the internet) worked outside our door but not in the room but it was available and free.
Damp in the shower, broken fixtures, room in gloomy basement without naturel light, TV didnt work, smell of owners cigarettes wafting throigh wondows/
great location reasonable price rooms not as small rooms quiet
nobody in in the morning construction starts at 8:00 am and is loud
Very close to 2 Tube stations and a bus stop right outside the door, Friendly staff, TV has variety of channels to choose from, Shower is really nice, Beds are comfortable, Really clean, Big shopping center right across the street with many stores and great restaurants
WiFi did not work in our room downstairs and had to go out in hallway or to lobby for access (which did not bother me too much), charge a bit extra if using card, some construction happening next door
Nothing to report that was special or worth mentioning
Possibly the worst value for money I have ever experienced - I travel extensively and the abbey hotel is possibly on of the worst hotels I have been at - Tiny rooms - old too-soft beds No decent soap - don't even bother asking staff for assistance outside of hotel dutie and they will only direct you to use the wi-fi which comes and goes-
great location for my visit to the BBC media village. Lovely staff. great price for central London.
a bit hot in the room I had, windows opened into a corridor so no breeze or fresh air coming in.
This hotel oversold booking, they only let us stay for the first night, and they kicked us out the next day. They promised us that they would find a suitable alternative, but they only offered us to send us about 20 miles away, to Watford, to a hotel more expensive, theyand they lied to us, thinking that, as we were tourist, we woudnt know were it was or how much it would cost. They said that it was "20 mins away", and that the public transport fares were the same for zone 6 than for zone 2. The When they realized that I was a londoner, I knew my rights, and that i was going to complain through booking.com, they just were really rude, and they tried to harass us to cancel our booking, so we wouldnt be able to claim anything from them. They tried to take advantage of tourist, and they lied. Really, If you dont want to risk being scammed, keep yourself away from this hotel. Horrible experience, they ruined my parents trip to attend to my wedding
