Just 5mins walk to Ealing Broadway. Friendly staff especially Australian lady. Comfortable room, Wifi was very good and free!Overall very enjoyable 2 night stay. Nice reading material too.
A good experience public areas very clean and tidy, rooms perhaps could do with more attention to detail but dusty rather than dirty.
Convenient and comfortable stay with nice breakfast.
Breakfast was good
Room was very small and the dividing wall with the next room didn't deaden any noise from the next door occupant
liked the position to the university and the station
room was a bit small, the bathroom was tiny and awkward to have a shower, and it needs updating. the breakfast menu sated full engkish breakfast but all i got was a very well fried egg 1 piece of bacon 1 hash brown, tomatoe and beans and no sausage!!! You can't have and english breakfast without sausage. I wouldn't stay again
Great location, close to the underground, a large mall and many restaurants and food places, all accessible by a short walk. Easy to get to central london by underground. Staff was friendly and helpful. Asked for a hair drier and was given one immediately. Breakfast was really good and clean towels were provided daily. Good value for money, nothing luxurious but it was great for what we needed it for.
nothing comes to mind
Good breakfast, cosy hotel, a good neighbourhoud.
Some of the staff could do a greater effort to be friendly. A smile will never do harm.
5 min. walk to Ealing Common Underground, 20 min. ride to center of London (hotel in 3 zone), easy to find hotel, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, warm room, free wi-fi.
Small room, old plumbing, shower and furniture
It is like at home. Lovely place.
It is bit far away from the centrum. Ealing Broadway is last stop at central line.
The room was ok and it was cheapish. You can't expect much for the price.
Staff was rather arrogant and unfriendly. Not as good as the sister B&B The Grange.
basic room ....basic breakfast...awful shower....not great...but i survived !
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
After a complicated journey in which everything went wrong - apart from the fact that I actually arrived - it was a relief to find a friendly welcome from staff and a comfortable room. Friendly and helpful service at breakfast the next day.
Small quibble - the lighting in the breakfast room was very dim, too dim for aged eyes to read the paper.
The staff were very friendly and the service at breakfast was excellent
The staff were careless in replenishing the milk, sugar and tea which they overlooked on two Days out of three!
Location, room and staff welcome excellent.
Heat only turned on in the evening time. The room was always cold.
Our staying at Abbey Lodge was more than pleasant thanks to the feeling of comfort and warmth, the hospitable and helpful staff and the freshly prepared english breakfast offered at the hotel. The premises being rather close to the Ealing Broadway underground station made our trips to London City centre possible (10 minutes walk to the underground station and 20-30 minutes by subway to the centre of London).
The quality of breakfast was fine.
Poor reception as the door bell and The inter-communication system was not working. Gained entry as one of the guest had the key. No staff to receive once inside. No response after knocking at the door marked private Bedroom was cold.
The place was very homey, we really loved our stay there, the beds were comfort, and you have clean towels whrenever you want. Would definitely reccomend it.
The walls are really thin so you can hear every noise from the next room.
We managed to book this hotel very late with a nice price. The room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. The full English breakfast was really nice. It was full indeed. Would like to stay here again.
It's a little far away from the Ealing tube stations. The toilet was not up to the mark and it needs some renovation.
Very nice room. Peaceful location in Ealing. 3rd bed was positioned under a very low shelf so i had to move it to avoid hitting head.
We rate a place by standard of coffee. It was instant, from a jar, so couldn't drink it.
Expect no luxury here, but it is indeed value for money. Paid 56 pounds/night as a couple in a small double room... you can pretty much expect what you read on this website: - small room (although slightly bigger than what I expected), en-suite (shower gel and liquid soap were provided), good bed, tea/cofee making facilities, etc. - free breakfast, which was good and you could customize your meal (eggs: poached, fried, scrambled, etc; beans, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, toast, coffee, tea, milk/cereals, yogurt, etc); - nice and quite neighborhood (could barely see a soul when going out for a smoke at 10 pm); - Tube station, shopping mall, Tesco, various restaurants/fast-food joints about a 10-minutes walk from the hotel; - helpful staff (requested a hair-dryer and a scale, and got them without any objections); Can't find a better rated hotel at this rate. Given the same budget, I would definitely stay again!
Really enjoyed our stay. Competitively price, great breakfast, complimentary tea/coffee and shower gel in room. Warm, friendly staff. 10/15 minutes walk to Ealing train/underground station. Will definitely return again!
Great location, great service. Room was nice and big with decent size beds with good size en suite.
Warm, quiet room Helpful staff Safe residential location, 10-15 minute walk from underground
Room very small Location a bit far from central London Not much choice for vegans for breakfast
