Less than 10 minutes’ walk from Ealing Broadway Tube and train stations and only 5 minutes' walk from Ealing town centre and common, Abbey Lodge was redecorated in November 2008.

With new beds, throws and curtains, this bed and breakfast was given a fresh new look in 2008.

The lodge’s convenient location means it is only around 25 minutes by London Underground from central London. London Heathrow Airport is less than 25 minutes away, via the Heathrow Connect train, which runs from Ealing Broadway station.

The Abbey Lodge is a 1900s-style building with rooms varying in size. All of the lodge’s 17 rooms are en suite, and each room has a TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a radio and clock/alarm.

A breakfast room overlooks the back garden and there is a lounge with Freeview TV, books, free Wi-Fi wireless internet access and free tea/coffee facilities.

A microwave oven is available in the breakfast room for guests use.

Rooms do vary in size but we will always try to put guests booking through this site in the biggest rooms first but this may not always be possible when the hotel is very busy.

Area information

The hotel is halfway between Heathrow Airport and London city centre. South Ealing Underground station is located 15 minutes’ walk away, and the airport is 15 minutes by car. The Heathrow Express stops at the Ealing Broadway station.

The area is surrounded by several parks such as Ealing Common, Walpole Park and Gunnersbury Park. The Royal Botanical Gardens are a few kilometres away from the hotel, and Kew is well served by the N65 bus towards Ealing, or by underground at Kew Gardens Station.

Ealing boasts a shopping centre with numerous shops located in a pedestrian area. A coffee bar, pubs, restaurants, bars and a bistro are near the hotel.

Travel information

The locality is very well served by the London Underground system; Ealing Broadway has the Central District lines and British Rail, and Ealing Common Tube has the Piccadilly Line. Both stations are at most 10 minutes walk and thus the West End, the city, Heathrow Airport and the main railway stations of London, a half hour journey or less. By car, we're just off the a406 (North Circular Road) at the crossroads with the a4020 (Uxbridge Road)- head to the end of Ealing Common, follow the road down the side of the common and we're the 3rd turn on the right (Grange Park).

Smoking Policy:
Please note that there is a no-smoking policy in operation throughout the hotel. However, there is a covered designated smoking area in the back garden.

Check-In Information:
Although check-in time is generally from 13:00, the Abbey Lodge Hotel - B&B is happy to accept earlier arrivals. Although we cannot guarantee immediate access to your room, we can register you, give you keys and store your luggage until later in the day.

Reception closes at 22:00, so please let the hotel know if you are going to arrive later than this time, so that arrangements can be made for you.
