Abbey Lodge Hotel - B&B  

Staff were very friendly & helpful & the location was great. It was quiet & residential but with easy access to City of London. Some good eating places in Ealing.

The bathroom could have had a touch of paint & looked rather shabby as did the room. Not terribly clean room - especially the corners. Would have been better if TV had been mounted on wall - difficult to watch from bed.

staff was friendly and welkoming. The hotel atmosphere was quite "family" and the position was ok, 10 minutes walking from the underground. Breakfast was excellent!

the small bedroom was really really small (like it was difficult just to know where to put our baggages...and we had just1 luggage each!)

The hotel was in an extremely quiet location and convenient to walk to the party my husband and I were attending in Ealing. The breakfast was good and freshly cooked.

I had to wait a long time (probably 15 minutes) to check out because breakfast was being cooked. this caused a couple who were leaving to catch a plane. We had been put in a very small room which was not particularly pleasant and although I was given the refund, I would not have known that there was a small room rate had I not read the rates displayed when leaving breakfast or been given the refund had I not raised the issue as I checked out. Parking is very difficult in the area.

Not much, the green common land near hotel was nice, the staff greeting us were nice, but that is truly all.........hang on the blue sheets were clean but we itched all night and I never slept one minute.

Room 15 nightmare, horrible smelling of dampness, mould everywhere in bathroom so I would not shower, bed was so uncomfortable, we opened the little window and tons pigeon muck fell into the room, kettle was filthy, skirting boards covered in fluff, was not worth the £53 we paid, health hazards, noise from screaming babies in different rooms all night, a complete and utter dump.

Not clean, poor state of decoration and furniture, breakfast ok if you like burnt sausage and toast. Heating off at 10.00pm mould on bathroom wall tiles very dissapointed having read previous reviews. I would avoid unlessyou are prepared to "rough it"

The B&B is located within walking distance from the Ealing Broadway Station and the area is quite nice. The full English breakfast was lovely (the poached egg was really good!).

We enjoy the stay, sleep well in comfortable beds, enjoy our breakfast and find the staff helpful. Overall a good place to stay for the money.

It has a warm, homely feel and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. The location is quiet but well linked to central London and Heathrow.

Very close to where I work and very handy if I need an overnight stay between working days. Friendly staff and an honest feeling to it all. It's a little tatty here and there but it's also dependable and comfortable, and excellent value for the price.

These days it feels like the dark ages to get sheets and blankets instead of duvets. The bed was perfectly comfortable - but if you;'re used to a duvet, sheets and blankets feel restrictive.

We have stay at the hotel for one night only thanks god for that. Everithing is out of date.room needs upgrating linen lookt secont time round. Breakfast left in the oven for to long rabery.bake beens burnt or non show up. Will I go there again never. Thats my opinion I m sorry you guys no good price for the service we got. N.M

Decent price for a London hotel. Staff were friendly and breakfast very nice.

Not really the fault of the hotel but at 3am a guest arrived back at the property having forgotten the key code combination and after several attempts to gain entry, smashed in the window and let themselves in!!!!

all of the above + breakfast is excellent convenient for tube local shopping is good ease of access for journey in and out of London

sink needs replacing and a towel rail would be helpful. We think a refurb is on the cards Despite this the hotel is always a pleasure to visit.

The whole place is in need of renovation. My bedroom was very small and the bed wasn't especially comfortable and you would have to be a contortionist to watch the tv from the bed!

Cheap and cheerful

Good location for Ealing Broadway or South Ealing railway/tube stations. Staff are friendly and helpful at breakfast time.

We had some difficulty with the security lock, which did not work at night. Fortunately a member of staff came down to the door and let us in.

We liked in particular the friendly staff, freshly cooked english breakfast every morning and is situated in a quiet part of London with a park nearby and a nice pub. Though still very near to a tube station (Ealing Common)

House is a bit old now and needs some modernisation. Still a cosy small guesthouse
