The Abbey Court Notting Hill  

Upon arrival we were given an upgrade, which meant that we received the room with the canopy bed. Although the room was a little worn down, it was comfortable. The Abbey Court Notting Hill is located very close to the tube and to "The Original Tour bus".

I didn't like the fact that you needed a key to lock your door at night. This made me a little uneasy, as I didn't think it was safe in case of a fire. One evening, we came in and the receptionist was nowhere to be seen. I banged on the reception door several times but no one came to assist me. I ended up going behind the counter and getting my key. The hotel uses a taxi service, which they consider reliable. It is quite pricey - considering a taxi from the hotel to Gatwick cost £75, where if you booked it on-line or perhaps flagged a taxi down on the street the price was around £55. I booked their reliable taxi from the hotel to Victoria Station (£17) and it never showed up. The reason being the reliable taxi service forgot to put their clocks ahead. I ended up getting a taxi from the street and paid £12.

Atomosphere at TheAbbey Court Notting Hill is great. I felt really relaxed as if I were in my home. Staffs are friendly and the quality of service is excellent. I also found that providing 2 bottles of water and biscuits is such a nice service.

Thought my room was gritty and noisy, was given ground floor room despite requesting higher when I made the booking with booking.coms Staff nice but would not return to this hotel

Wonderful ambiance, super thoughtful management and staff, beautifully furnished in antiques, central with great location near tube and bus system, good restaurants and shops nearby, a great buy in an inexpensive city.

Verry good location, just 3min from Notting hill Gate station. I came to London by Eurostar, and I could take bus(391?? ) from St Pancras station which Eurostar stops, it takes less than 30 min. Hotel staff are so nice, always help me to use internet, also I asked them about the temparature of room and they immediately gave me a sollution. Hotel room, I used double bed room, which was enough space also soooo cute interior!! You can see exactly same atomosphere from photos of this site. Definately I'll stay at same hotel when I come back to London.

The hotel was an excellent location. My room was small but cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room size was good, stayed in a double room on top floor. Very comfortable beds, many pillows, seating area. Free drrinks were offered in the reception. Very clean room that was vacuumed every day, and the linen were changed once during a four night stay. Excellent location near tube, shops, market and parks, but in a quiet street. Nice and polite staff.

There is no elevator, but a bit of exercise is always good for you. Doesn't have aircondition. Was not needed for a stay in april/may, but during summer it would be a must for us.

Mysigt hotell med personligt inrett rum med skön säng. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Lagom centralt läge, väldigt nära till tunnelbana och buss. Café-frukost, Starbucks etc finns runt hörnet om man inte vill äta frukost på hotellet. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell :)

Frukosten var lite väl dyr - den var god men den var inte riktigt värd 12 pund.

Hemos pasado una estancia muy agradable y cuando volvamos a Londres intentaremos alojarnos en el mismo hotel. La habitacion, estupenda con una luz muy especial, todo el personal es muy amabl,E. La ubicacion no puede ser mejor, en un entorno tranquilo y precioso a un paso del mercadillo de Portobello y a un tiro de piedra del metro.

Extrem gute und schöne Lage, direkt neben dem Portobello Road. Sehr süßes Hotel, sauber und die Leute sehr zuvorkommend. Typisch british - old style...
