Food is outstanding with a wide range of choices, rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Hand towels and washcloths would be nice. |

We stay in North Wales all the time and we feel we have found the jewel in the crown. The owner Errol is welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for him. The rest of the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is really brilliant, and the evening meal, should you wish to indulge is varied and delicious. |

Our stay at the Abbeyfield was great. England Wales 6 Nation's match was on, only English man in there and was made to feel very welcome. Breakfast and the evening meal were to a high standard. If ever in the area again i would have no hesitation in booking again. |

Value for money, basic but did the job. I arived at 9.03pm and Kitchen closed at 9pm. I explained that I had driven 300 miles and was there anything I could eat but I was told there was nothing they could do so I had to go and find a takeaway. They could have been more accomodating or helpful but it was just a flat no. |

Its out of town location, spotlessly clean, on site parking and for a small hotel, It also had a it's own entertainment with music and pub quizzes. And of course breakfast was good too. It's noisey! My room and maybe other are above the bar and with the thin walls/floor it was difficult to get an early night. Also it is located next to right next to railway and the shudder of a passing train could be felt. The beds and mattreses could do with replacing as they were very unsupporting and sagging. Outside would benefit form a good clean/painting up to present an inviting feel. |

The cosy feel of the bar area, the friendliness of the staff and most of all the quality of the food A bit close to the railway line, and my room sat above a very noisy generator. |
