The place was tired and needed tiding up. The food was far from delicious .
Great food Pleasant staff Value for money Quiet
Beds were a little on the hard side and pillows too soft Not a great deal to do.
Food hospitality breakfast comfy bed easy access to A 55 good atmosphere plenty of parking
train line just out side
Staff are very friendly, room was more than comfortable, hotel in general was very nice and breakfast was good as well. Its very good value for money and comes recommended.
Just the wi-fi signal being weak.
Friendly atmosphere and excellent food
The staff were very helpful and the food was absolutely superb. I loved the free wi-fi.
The rooms looked a bit tired and maybe in need of an update in the near future.
The owners were friendly
The family room was small it looked more like a double room and they had stuck an extra bed in it. Also it needs an update it had tacky furniture .
Staff was very friendly and helpfull, dinners were served in pub style for a good value, breakfest was well organised and tasty. Location was secluded, but close drive to Snowdonia. It isn't a 5* hotel but it is a great place to stay, if all you need is somwhere to sleep and eat:-)
Rooms were a bit outdated but still comfortable and offered everything what we needed for sleeping in:-)
Location Staff Food Drink Prices Friendliness Parking Local information leaflets
There was nothing I didn't like but to improve the room I was allocated the decor could be freshened up and the bathroom door could be adjusted to ensure it closed properly; but as I was on my own, it didn't matter.
The food was GREAT!!
The food was excellent.
Having to leave.
Location and staff were friendly
Needs sprucing up! Mildew in shower. Mattress stains seen through sheets (which in fairness were clean)
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although hotel was off the beaten track, the menu choice was so comprehensive, there was no need to go elsewhere to eat in the evening. Quality of food was excellent!
You get what you pay for, be careful the room I can only describe as nasty.
Fantastic breakfasts Friendly staff Cheap beer Biker friendly (safe parking)
Needs a lick of paint Road noise in front rooms
Plenty of parking Lovely breakfast Good location
Rooms comfortable but a bit dated Noise from other residents
Breakfast was nice
The room was very dated didn't warrant a night fee of £75. The bathroom and a white toilet and a pink sink and pedestal. The door handle to the bathroom which should have 8 screws holding it together had 2. The room overlooked the railway line which was so close you could read the engine number and see the passengers
Person serving breakfast very helpful. Food good. Bar staff who served evening meal very pleasant.
Evening meals too expensive. Asked for quiet room and though we couldn't hear rest of hotel, near us was an air conditioning unit - VERY noisy! Saw member of staff and she said " someone has to have the noise"! A discount would have been appreciated. We were in room 10.
Room was fine & the meals very enjoyable
Very friendly staff, good service in a beautiful location.
Staff, brilliant breakfast, great dinner, cheap beer prices (compared to Gloucestershire).
Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, resulting in the worst nights sleep I have ever had. Also right next to a train track which had trains running on throughout the night and early in the morning. Would not stay here again.
Nice location 10min.from Bangor city by car. Restaurant very good food,
I believe the hotel needs a face lifting.(rooms, bathroom, decoration, curtains etc)
The bed, the shower, the breakfast and the staff.
The noise; thin walls, noisy bar area, creaky floors, banging doors & high speed railway passes very close by.
Good atmosphere and nice hotel in great location. Plenty of free on site parking
After arriving late afternoon went to room watched some sport on TV. Came for dinner to be told that they do not serve after 8:30pm. Went to very good Chinese restaraunt just 25 yards from hotel and had great meal. Pub next door also served food later than hotel.
