For us this was in a good location. Reasonable price and friendly staff. nothing fancy but good quite good accommodation.

Nothing really. We got what we expected and no hassle.

Polite, friendly staff, good price/value, laid-back neighbourhood.

Really, really awful doors: closing one amounts to an earthquake.

Bed uncomfortable could feel the springs and room not warm enough. Tv did not work.

Location was good for our trip to Reading for the weekend to celebrate a family event. Breakfast was good but better if served on warmed plates - they were stone cold. Room was okay, bed comfortable. Would stay again.

Had to ask for a kettle but friendly staff supplied within minutes. The beside lamp didn't work, asked for a replacement but it never arrived.

Fairly close to city centre,free car park.

Very Clean and very friendly Hotel. The Hotel is being modernised on a room by room basis and we had one of the newley refurbished rooms which was very clean and tastefull. I would recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation in staying their again.

Comfortable room, good cooked breakfast included in price, free parking.

some distance from town centre, but okay if you have transport (10 mins in car).

The car park was full when I arrived, so the manager arranged for me to park next door overnight. Room was comfortable and clean, shower was good and a decent breakfast.

I didn't realise that it was a B&B only, and not a great choice of eating places within walking distance.

Room dirty, bathroom no kick board below shower, blackmold, cold, towel rail cable not connected and hanging loose. Vehicle broken into at front of hotel parked 2m from front door, CCTV only covers front door. Loud musice every evening from so called bar

The hotel was great. It has this family feel to it, and the staff are really helpful, polite and friendly. The room had a perfect size and everything is very clean. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone.

Convenient for the visit we made. A clean, recently refurbished room ( N0. 7). Comfortable bed.

Location in sity. Big LCD TV. Wide bed.

Sausage was owerburning. Bathroom is cold.

Need abit of tlc in the room the finishing touches let it down ie shower room exposed pipes ever were just looked half done

The staff was very nice and accomadating. Room was comfotable and well fitted out. Breakfast was basic but quite good. Nothing bad to say at all. Would come back here ina hearteat.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

Small issue but my digital TV broke a couple of times. However, staff fixed it as soon as i reported it.

Staff were all really friendly at helpful. I think it was family run and you could feel the sense of community and co-operation between them.

The breakfast was dreadful. The tea had a scaley/limey taste to it. I was staying in room 1. There was a damp problem below the window to the front external wall (Didn't report it- so I apologise. Extractor fan in the shower very noisy, needed a clean and some maintenance. You have my permission to give my name address and comments, good and bad to hotel owners

It had beautiful rooms and nice tv.

Our tv didn't work so had to move to another room.

Front desk staff were very cordial and very helpful (eg. could arrange for taxis quickly, helpful with directions, etc.)

As we have to use stairs, heavy luggage can be a problem for upper floors.
