Best thing was the fantastic breakfast. One of the best ever. It was also close to all ameneties and the lanlord was very friendly and helpful. The lighting in the room was a bit dull. Could have had a higher rating bulb. |

owners could not have been any more helpful. very central location. free parking. great breakfast. On a very quiet street. it is a typical B and B. Bit old fashioned but nice and clean and the owners very thoughtful with their little extra touches. Eg fridge available on landing for use, with fresh milk. Plenty of tea and coffee. basic toiletries....tv mag. A bit of extra thought goes a long way. |

This is a very comfortable and well-appointed guest house owned and operated by very welcoming people. The price was competitive. The room was quiet. The breakfast was good. I would heartily recommend this property. |

The room was too small for two persons with luggage. Parking in the road was easy. Short walk to the centre and the Minster. |

Owners were extremely helpful and friendly, even going as far to have a printed route (with photos) showing us a quicker route back to the station. Time and effort had been put into this purely for the guests benefit. |

Hayley, Paul and the boys welcome you to their guest house, a special place to stay in York; a distinctive Edwardian residence, where a more friendly accommodation is hard to find. |
This modern hotel is in York's historic city centre, on the banks of the River Foss, next to the ancient city walls. It has a heated indoor swimming pool and large, modern rooms. |
In York city centre, less than one mile (1.6 km) from York Minster, Hotel Noir has rooms with a free minibar and full cooked English or continental breakfast included. |
Near a quiet park, this family-run guest house has free Wi-Fi and excellent-value accommodation. It is a 14-minute walk from York Minster and York city centre. Astley House is small and friendly. |
