2 nights of 4 I had no access to the hotel! Doors has been locked from inside. They have bad system there, anyone can lock it and it is impossible unlock it from outside! No one answered my phone calls, no one heard a door bell. I have been in very bad situation. I knocked hard on the door for about ½ an hour, wake everyone up and after that owner came and open the door. It happened twice...

The people who owned it were lovely, rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was great. We didn't have far to walk for beach etc. It was hard to get a parking space near by.

We received a friendly welcome and the couple who owned the Abbotsford were very friendly throughout our stay. The hotel was easy to find and is just a short walk from a lot of the main attractions which was good. As a group, we found that the pictures online were a little misleading. The hotel could do with quite a bit of sprucing up. One example was that in all 3 of the rooms we used, the wallpaper was coming off of the walls. One of the rooms was very cold and the guests in that room had to ask for extra blankets as they couldn't get warm. Thankfully the owners were very understanding and provided these. Another problem we encountered was that none of us could unlock the main door, despite 6 of us trying! We didn't dare stay out too late as we had to ring the bell to be let in and didn't want to disturb the other guests.
