Location , service at breakfast was excellent
Hard to find with sat nav as well
Clean and comfortable. Close to amenities. Staff very helpful
Staff Location Breakfast Cleanliness
nothing I didn't like about this hotel
Location - could walk everywhere Relaxed atmosphere Quiet at night Free parking Breakfast
Nothing - all very positive
An excellent location once you find how to get to it without a trip round the one way system ( read the hotel`s web site properly!) We had a quiet room at the back and a good night`s sleep. A nice freshly cooked breakfast the next morning .Nice people running the hotel, not a faceless place.
Very small bathroom, everything you need but a tight squeeze.
Good central location when visiting Shrewsbury.
Clean Friendly Staff Plenty of tv channels Wifi Bar
Rooms are on the small side
Excellent location, great staff, very friendly, very helpful. Would defiantly recommend.
Excellent location, quiet
Location of hotel very good, the welcome second to none very personal
The price a little high for hotel standard
Location. friendly staff. great food
Far too hot in the room. Window did open but only a little. A fan would have been very much appreciated in this heat wave
Location, friendly staff
Finding the hotel was difficult because of the nearby road closures.
Very good location and very pleasant and helpful staff.
Excellent location within town, friendly staff, nice garden in view of room and breakfast restaurant
Stairs - OAP guest (I should have mentioned) Close to a bar with noisy night revellers
Great location in a great town.
Noisy guests at 2am! Not the hotels fault!
The location was superbly central, although a little noisy as its a thru road between the town centre and the river.
Breakfast was a little too greasy. And only 1 sausage. But it was tasty.
Rooms Cleanliness Central location Friendly staff Lovely breakfast
Great location, amazing breakfast.
Room was clean, very pleasant staff, quiet location but not far from the sites & scenery, lovely breakfast.
I thought the price was a little steep, I would expect to pay around £55- 65 for the room we were in, although it was lovely and clean and ensuite, it was basic bed, basic decor.
parking ok. service & breakfast good. situated in the town. Pleasant staff.
no evening dining. room a bit tiny.
Friendly family run
Ideal location. Limited parking but a public car park across the road that only charges £4 for 24 hours. Clean room, comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great Full English breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
We had a room at the front of the hotel and found it difficult to sleep as there was a lot of noise at night due to people coming out of nearby pubs and Indian Takeaway across the road. Noise continued into the early hours. Not a fault of the hotel but would ask for a back room if we stayed again.
I found the staff extremely friendly and most helpful. I frequently asked questions about the area, the history of Shrewsbury and things to do and see. The staff were better than a guide book!
There really wasn't anything to dislike; the food was excellent and the hotel itself was convenient for the centre.
Near to river for walking Helpful staff Clean
Wifi not good signal dropped frequently - very frustrating tv small & fixed to wall at an angle so difficult to view Room small I would have struggled to use toilet if I was a large person as you had to squeeze between washbasin & shower to get to it Overpriced compared to other hotels in town offering midweek offers, larger rooms, nearer to town centre shops, theatre and railway station etc
