Abcone Hotel

This hotel is lovely and I recommend it. It was easy to find although reception is at number 11 and not number 10 and the arrow on the door of 10 left us slightly confused. It was quiet especially at the back, which is a big plus. The carpet in my room was slightly stained, but ithe room and bathroom were clean and cleaned everyday.

The downside is the reception staff. I would suggest in the very least training in eye-contact and smiling would improve the visiting experience and offer service. We arrived covered in snow and were ignored at first and then booked through automatically. We were studiously ignored everytime we entered or exited the hotel and we were automatically booked out with not even "...have a good trip home..." A mention of our snow-covered entrance or a joke, a good evening or good morning at some point would have made the service human instead of automatic. Staff just need to be trained in basic welcoming, English maybe a second language for staff or guests, but a smile is universal.

Very close to Glouchester Road Underground. Quiet neighbour. Very clean, comfortable & warm room.

Good position. Breakfast is ok.

Shower was cold

The location- which was chosen to be close to Royal Albert Hall but was quiet and in pleasant surroundings.

Unfortunately there was no cold water available on the day of our visit and the en-suite was very 'compact' but adequate.

A small well kept hotel, clean, bathroom bigger than in most of the same category in the area. A pleasant experience and Spurs won on Saturday..

The staff were friendly and we were able to check in early.

The breakfast was very basic.

I have stayed at this hotel before.I was satisfied then and I was this time.

Nice,clean, comfortable room. 1 minute walk from restaurants/shops. Breakfast basic but for the price you cannot expect a Michelin 3 star gourmet buffet!

We liked the location, 2 blocks from the tube, walking distance to three great museums and of course Harrods. Room was clean, staff compenant and rate was great.

TV was very small, fan in bathroom stayed on forever.

Value for money, excellant location, and the freindly helpful staff.

The room we stayed in was very small which was quite a disadvantage with 2 suit cases. And would be a similair problem for any internatiional travellers.
