Rude team working at the reception Very poor Cleaning, hairs all over the floor...dirty walls.
The staff were friendly and room was adequate size and clean
Hated the swimming pool showers
Public convenience far from the rooms for ladies.
The location was good. We were upgraded to a better room on arrival as they had them spare. The reception staff were very happy and helpful. The room was basic but clean.
A cleaner knocked on our door and before even giving us the chance to answer she walked straight in, luckily no one was changing. However, the reception staff did apologise for this. There was a lot of noise in the morning from about 7am, which made it difficult to sleep.
Has many kitchens that you can freely use and nice bathrooms. There is a mini-market on the ground floor.
The noise outside and the staff cleaning at early hours makes impossible to sleep till 9/10 am.
Location was ok
Staff were rude. Bathrooms weren't ergonomic, you can have a shower, but nowhere to out clothes, towel etc. Noise carries! Wouldn't stay here again, nor recommend it.
No curtains in the rooms, no heating in the rooms, useless staff, disgusting and dirty toilets with cockroaches.
Perfect location, reasonable price, fridge in the room, 24 h reception, Tesco very close
Bugs in the shower! Ewww! No hair dryer, thin walls
Bad cleaning. Dirty walls. Window shades not good
close to facilities and easy access to central london
first night noisy italians in middle of night keeping me awake
Not a lot
5 minutes from Hammersmith station & Kings road Cheap for London i.e not
No TV or kettle in room Bed uncomfortable Building site next door (Oct 2014) at least they don't start until 08:00
I found Abercorn House Hostel too noisy. The walls are extremely thin and in the morning you could hear the alarm of the person staying 3 rooms down the corridor. Also there are no lifts which was really unpleasant because I was travelling with a big luggage. The staff was not particularly polite or helpful. Overall, I would not like to stay another night. The relatively good price (£45.00/night) and its location are its advantages.
Clean,near to station
Too much noise, hot during night, you have open windows, sexy girls very noisy during night.
no pots or pans
the location is good
I didn't like the extremely unfriendly members of staff down at reception (2 males). Also the fact that even if I asked for no cleaning in my room, while I was out someone came into my room and pretend was making my bed while it didn't change my bed sheets or mop the floor or anything. That made me extremely suspicious about the motive to go into my room.
It is clean. Easily accessible
Male and female guests in single rooms use same shared bathroom. This is inhuman. They should be advised to provide separate bathrooms for guests in the single rooms
There is a kitchen
Room is small and hot
Location was very good. Peaceful. The room was clean. The rest room was comfortable, with beautiful terrace. Thank you for the nice stay.
The room was small, would love to have there a table were I could eat. Eating in the resting room with other isnt my thing.
Unbelievable value for money. Very clean and functional. Would very much recommend
Very hot even though heatingbnot on.
Location,descent beds and facilities...
That place tend to attract a lot of people from the construction Industry that are rude and not easy to deal with...
Very close to hammersmith Apollo
Room very stark and basic, felt a bit like a cell. Noisy in the morning. Expensive for what you get, but not for london I suppose.
everything was great - just no cooking supplies.
no pans or cooking utensils.
Cleanliness and the calm atmosphere
No free wifi
Clean sheets and towels every second day; newly renovated clean and well designed showers and toilets; nice garden patio off TV room.
Fire doors a bit intrusive, but safe
