The friendly service as well as the good location were ideal for our 4-days trip to London. The room was clean and relatively new (double glassed windows, new bathroom). In the Hostel a kitchen is available. Very short walking distance to Hammersmith station and a close by shopping area.
At the moment there is a construction site near by. It didn't affect us because there was no work at the times of the day we spent at the Hostel.
Good location, relatively quiet.
The shared bathrooms, hallways, and kitchen were not the cleanest or best smelling. Room cleanliness was passable. WiFi and breakfast are not included, and the staff was a bit cold. A fire alarm went off in the middle of the night one night during my stay. Definitely would not rebook.
Good location, efficient reception.
My room smelled somewhat unpleasantly, couldn't quite figure what it was - maybe residues of washing powder on linen or someone got sick there before.
The hostel is really close to tube station (Hammersmith) and bus stops. Night bus stops to Victoria and Camden are close as wellYou can buy snacks and drinks as well as sandwiches in the small cafe at the entrance at cheap prices. It's possible to rent a hairdryer with only £5 caution.
The Wifi is not free and definitely overpriced: you pay £1 for an hour connection. Some of the showers have cold water. (in a 4 nights stay we had 3 cold showers).
Very noisy at night. Doors slamming at 3am, people knocking on doors all night. I didn't sleep very well at all.
when my request already confirmed to get a quite room, i had to stay in the noisiest room (next to the lift on the ground floor.)
The place is quite and new. Seems to be reacently renewed.
staff very cold and people in genarely not very friendly. Some noise froms the corridor late in the morning from the closing fire doors. If you want an hostel to meet some people, parties or something like that, try to find another one.
i had a single room. heater worked perfectly, bed was good, showers and toilets only 1meter away. everything was clean.
cleaning staff was totally mad! the started cleaning the whole builing at 7am everyday, SO DAMN LOUD LIKE THEY TRIED TO WAKE US UP ON PURPOSE!!!! everything would have been perfect, but they totally ruined my stay!!!
Staff on reception. Arrogant, dismissive, unhelpful, best replaced by machines.
Value for money and location
No basin in room and no cold water facility in shower /bathroom area. Only one unisex toilet facility at the other end of the corridor.
Paid WiFi £1/h

Good location - it's next to the hammersmith subway station. It's quite cheap for london I guess.
It is loud ALL the time. Don't expect to get some sleep at night. Neither before noon at noon or afternoon. One can hear every word your room neighbour or people in the aisle talk. The water in the shower only gets warm after 5 to 10 minutes of use. The bathroom (if you choose a room including toilett and shower) is so small one can hardly sit convenient on the toilett.
very good location
shaky bed, no bedsite lamps, paid wi-fi
- subway stations are very close - shopping centers are very close - fridge in the room
- it was quite cold in room and other facilities (toilet, shower, kitchen)
Showers were cold Staff were rude Bed was uncomfy They took payment for 2 nights instead of 1 and wouldn't give it back! Everything was damp and smelt
I arrived late , the staff was unfriendly . I was placed in a room with 3 people , spent only a few hours , but it turned out that I was bitten by insects. Found large red spots and itching. Very, very uncomfortable !
The best thing is the transport. You have the subway (Hammersmith station) very near, 3 minuts walking, and you have several lines that move you for all the city. We took the double room with private bathroom. The room was small but enough for us. It have as facilities as a small fridge and calefactor, the bathroom was pretty nice with a shower and the water was hot. In addition, you have a zone for cooking but you have to bring your things for cooking. Also you have a zone for washing your clothes ( you have to pay a little bit) and a Tv room. We stayed seven days and all was very nice and quiet.
The worst thing maybe was the bed but if you are tired it doesn't matter, you can sleep well. Another thing is that the floor wasn't clean very well, but you didn't find any beatle like other posts said, it was ok. And if you wanted to change the towers and the bed you have to ask for it. But one day they did it without saying anything. The wc paper when it had finished we asked for more and they give us. In addition, for the wifi you have to pay, we didn't use it until we go to a coffee shop.
the only problem was the shower. Had issues with hot water most of the times.
Very clean and near a metro station.
Staff was at all times incredibly rude.
Convenient and cheap price for monthly visit to Charing X hospital for treatment. A place for me to rest in comfort before travelling again.
Would have liked an explanation as to what facilities were available on arrival.
The fact that air for breath is for free
There is no lights no heating no elects points no hot water in the shower wifi cost money. Nightmare.
Friendly staff, warm rooms and close to the tube
A bit of mould in the ceiling of the shower room otherwise clean and fresh
Free Wifi then soap in the kitchen to wash plates/dishes!
The reception needs more of ladies than men. The men look intimidating! !!
It was clean and not expensive.
Noice at night, guy masturbating in the toilet.
