Staff were great when we phoned for directions and attentive after we arrived. Breakfast gave a good choice. Rooms were as good as we expected from the web tour. Car park is small and entrance is very steep. Exciting parking in the wet and dark, don't attempt in snow or ice. |

Location, location, location.. It's in the city centre. A lot of shopping centre within walking distance (Aberdeen Mall, The Academy, Bon Accord, and the new Union Square). Many restaurants around. Nice comfortable bed. Jacuzi bath tub. Free parking (you have to reserved it since it's limited). Free WiFi. A simple breakfast included in the price (fresh fruit, nice coffee machine). Big screen flat TV with DVD player (the DVD was broken in my room #12 during my stay) with some selections of DVD in the reception office. 24 hours reception, and all of them are nice & efficient. The room is a bit small (like most hotel in Europe), but since I'm alone this was not a problem. The gate of the parking is manually operated, so if you need to leave with your car at strange hours, you need to ask the receptionist to open it. Access door from parking to the hotel was not secured (it is closed most of the times though and can only be open from inside), but sometimes it was left open (there might be security issues here). |

The hotel was very modern and clean. The room was lovely with a wonderful double jaucuzzi bath that easily fitted us both. The Widescreen TV added a touch of luxury and having a DVD player was great as well. Being so close to the city centre made it really the ideal place to stay. Breakfast was well catered for with a large selection of fruit, breads, cereals, ham and cheese and a large range of coffees and teas. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We booked a parking space that was at the back of the hotel and it was so tiny we missed it, it would have been good to have a bit more communication about this. Despite obvious care put in by the hotel to prevent outside noise, there was still a level that could be disturbing to the more sensitive traveller. |

I was in room 6, which was a much quieter room than the last time I stayed (room 1). The breakfast bar is unusually good and included in the room rate, and the bed, bathroom furniture, air con etc are all exceptionally good. WiFi is also included in the rate.A good nights sleep at a reasonable cost (cheap for Aberdeen!) The shower curtain was very smelly indeed, and tainted the whole room, so I packed it neatly into the waste bin. There is no excuse for this -all that is needed is a little common sense+ bleach by housekeeping. It was promptly replaced the next morning, and apart from that the room was spotless.Others have commented on the curious floor layout, but its just that the ground level is 4 stories lower at the back than the front! |

The rooms were newly decorated and exceedingly comfortable. I enjoyed the spa and the feather top bed. The location couldn't have been better, it was very close to nice restaurants and a short walk to the train station. The breakfast area was depressing, it was severe and impersonal. |

The room facilities were fine and the location excellent-there isn't a restaurant but its right in the middle of the eating district. There is a breakfast bar which was fine. room 1 is awful! Its right under the stairs (which go down to reception) and next to reception and so is very very noisy. Sure its got all the usual facilities, but it really shouldn't be used as a guest room-its arguably not fit for purpose. I will not stay in it again, although I will give the hotel another try. |

Hard to find. Room was tiny, and we in a lower room, felt like a basement, so every time room above stepped on their floor, or someone was on the stairs above, it invibrated through our room. |

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had parking facilities and it was extremely convenient for shopping. Noise level late at night as this appears to be the night entertainment street of Aberdeen. |

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was very good and lots of variety available. The cleanliness was of a very high standard. Despite being right in the middle of all the nightlife, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. I thought the room was a little small, but this wasn't really a problem as the space available was well planned. |
