My weekend stay was very pleasant. Comfortable room and bed with nice firm pillows. Breakfast was fine, but my usual complaint about a buffet style one remains. Food and plates never hot enough! Dined in Mollys one night and I enjoyed what I ordered. Staff were very polite and attentive. If visiting Aberdeen again, I would book this hotel.

Stayed here before a few years ago and loved it, wouldnt stay anywhere else now . I recommend paying a little extra and having an executive room we had the glenlossie suite and ur was gorgeous.

Good central location for exploring city and proximity to station (but see "didn't like" below). Very good meals. Beyond your control, but night noise from the street was irksome.

Location near harbour (business) and near city centre for restuarants. I have stayed at hotel on numerous occassions over last 10 years Breakfast is too late - 6:30 would be more preferable.

I found our stay very comfortable and the staff were excellent. The hotel is on a busy road and near a busy social area...so I would advice you to enquire about a quiet room...I Am sure the staff would try and oblige.Our room was ok for noise and was clean.. Bathroom was clean and and well supplied with towels and shower gel...all in all a pleasant stay...we have stayed there several times......breakfast ample choice.....we had lunch ...good......evening meal..good Really no complaints as such....a bit expensive compaired to some other hotels in the area...

Reception staff were very helpful and i was in need of help due to a computer problem. Internet access has improved tremendously compared to the last time i stayed there 2 yrs ago. No desk for me to work on in the room. The conference room has no outside windows.. I find that claustrophobic.

The location suited our need perfectly. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food well presented although the choice was a little disappointing. The room we had was extremely comfortable but the windows were in need of cleaning. On the whole very happy and will return

We arrived at the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel and were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist, who explained to us that we had been upgraded to one of their apartments free of charge! This in itself was lovely but when we entered the apartment it was even better than we expected, all the rooms were very spacious, clean and modern, presented to a high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable and we could barely hear a thing from outside, even though it was Hogmanay! Breakfast in the morning was a buffet, a mixture of hot and cold food. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was lovely and plentiful. Would definitely stay there again!

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Room very clean roomy,with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location excellent for shopping, theatre, music hall. Have stayed here before and will be back again. Our room was a wee bit cold, but wasn't in it long enough for it to be a problem.

This is my third stay at the Aberdeen Douglas. It has good facilities and its location is ideal for shoppping, near to theatres and is good value for money.

I had a night out at the Douglas hotel and decided to stay the night with my husband. Had a great night there, meal was excellent, room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Had a quiet room on the top floor, which suited us very well. I used the bali bliss spa to have a hot stone massage in the morning which was very good and also got a late check out to have a shower afterwards at no extra charge. The lift was a bit slow. I also telephoned earlier in the day to find out if there was a car park, was told there was but with limited spaces. Found a space in the car park on arrival, but on checking out, I was told that I had to pay £5 for the code to get out of the car park. Felt that this could have been said over the phone or while checking in.
