Exec Room was a good size. Large comfortable bed. Booked for leisure facilities, specifically the pool for children's entertainment & Starbucks for myself. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms service came within allocated time.
No lift! for an airport hotel where people are staying with lots of luggage is not great. I cld not manage all my luggage with a young child & had to ask for help. I booked this hotel as room was described as soundproofed. However a 1/2cm+ gap down side & top of the door meant is was not soundproofed. I cld hear every word being said in the corridor as people walked by and the slamming of doors at all hours. Also letting in quite a bit of light from corridor. It was booked to get an early good nights sleep before getting up at 04:30 for a flight. I got very little sleep sadly. Hotel forgot to order my taxi for airport check-in. Courtesy bus was thankfully available & took us right to the airport door.
Hotel is very slick when booking in and out.
Was let down by bar staff when I wanted to order a small bar meal. Did not come to take our order..
Comfortable reception with leather sofas and 'real' fire. Good breakfast. The bar. Big bedroom with two queen sized beds. Great value for money.
Friendly staff, early check in,and a Xmas card!!! Nice comfortable room ,be nice to have a free upgrade as it's our 4th Xmas staying there .
More choice of food in bar menu
We liked the accommodation and meals ( bar meals ) The breakfast was excellent , with a good choice . Staff pleasant and helpful. We had a free upgrade to executive room , without asking
Perhaps only drawback was noise of helicopters landing and taking off. Perhaps extra glazing would help . We were at back so noise was not too intrusive , but began early in the morning
Size of room & bed
Single glazing patio door instead of a window meant I could hear everything outside, especially planes taking off from the airport.
I have stayed here before but booked in this weekend for my birthday weekend with my sister and four young kids between us. Cannot fault anything about this stay. Staff were excellent with kids. Pool and jacuzzi were great. In room dining missed our fries from order so we received these complimentary which made an already superb meal even better and staff were so apologetic for it even though it was no big deal. Handled it excellently anyway. Breakfast in room was spot on also. Just cant actually wait to go back for another stay as soon as possible to relax again.
Decor The room Pool Breakfast selection Staff
Hash browns at breakfast, like crunching granite.
Staff were very helpful and genuinely keen to help.
£11 for a glass of red wine - unbelievable price!
Well presented room ,warm clean and tidy.No Complaints at all.
the standard of the hotel the staff were excellant the function we attended was excellant being able to extend our check out time
Been near swimming pool , Room good size Clean spotless room Breakfast good lovely staff
Lovely comfy bed
Noise of folk going to bed at 4am
The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant.
This is billed on the internet as a Spa hotel, it is not. Treatments were not available, the sauna did not work and children were in the pool at 10.30 pm and then again at 8.am Very noisy if you have a pool -side room. These rooms need more noise insulation, or alternatively, close the pool earlier in the evening. We found the wines in the restaurant very over priced.
The staff were superb, friendly and supportive.
Lovely pint of Stella at the bar. Staff very pleasant.
I can only go by our excellent value two night stay with breakfast at the week end. The room was big, the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was first class. The staff were friendly.
Had great overnight stay at the hotel. From staff to accomodation everything was perfect . Will definitely be back.
Nothing to dislike.
Little touches in quality of extras eg products in bathroom tea and coffee facilities
A bit too warm In the room
Plenty of free parking, very quick check in & out with pleasant members of staff. The food was of a good standard both for Dinner & Breakfast with plenty of choice. The room for my son and I could not be faulted, two double beds, air conditioned with plenty of space.
Waiting over 25 mins for our restaurant bill then being given the wrong one. Being called whilst in our room after dinner saying we had signed for our food but not left a charge card open, we had done this at check in and even told them to take more than they were going too. Being woken in the middle of the night with the fire alarm going off, I have stayed in hotels previously who quickly notify you what the problem is by way of either a note under your room door or a member of staff being positioned in the hallway to explain what is happening, no explanation or apology provided in this instance.
staffs were very nice and friendly. Room is clean. Breakfast is delicious. Location is fine and near the airport. They have a serbice that will drop and pick you at the airport . Service is just great.
windows are shut and lock. no natural ventilation. especially for people like me who are claustrophobic.
£200/ night Plus £15 for WiFi. Restaurant shut on a Thursday night???? Seriously? It's a marriott at an airport! Flat design means long corridors and then no elevator, dragging bags up stairs. Had it's best days in the '80's
All the facilities, once inside, were excellent. Room was good, breakfast good although the restaurant staff were slow to clear used plates, etc and there were plenty people on duty. They just liked chatting to one another!
The outside looks terrible! The entrance must be the worst of any 4 or 5 star hotel anywhere but, once inside, it is fine.
Cracked mug Non-working TV Took an hour to get into Aberdeen because of traffic
