Staff were excellent food was great, no complaints what ever
No off road parking at time of visit, but that was due to improvements being done and was unavoidable
Great hotel to use as a base. Food fantastic, great bar people very friendly. Lovely walks. A good coffee shop on the high street serves great cake.. We will definitely be back. Much better hotel than the Woodside.
Loved the variety on the menu and the food was well presented and tasted lovely. Good live band on auld years night. Staff very polite, helpful, friendly and I am thinking of going back again this year.
Not a major problem, but television could have been slightly bigger for easier viewing.
Very friendly staff, cosy bar area, good breakfast, comfortable bed
Parking was out of use.
Staff were all absolutely terrific! Room was great. No faults.
Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable room. Lovely breakfast.
Only fault was intermittent wifi..
Restaurant food was excellent. Friendly staff
Single bed Shower head was average
Friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant, good food, clean and good facilities Thanks for a lovely stay
Nothing not to like
Staff were friendly and willing to help us out.
A very tired and in need of updating pub with rooms. Carpets were threadbare, bed squeaked every time I moved. The vent from the kitchen poured cooking smells into my room through the open window, the room being too hot to have it shut. Smokers didn't help congregating outside the windows either. Stairs were difficult to navigate with bags and almost tripped and fell on them several times. Whole place in need of update and renovation. Shower went to cold too quickly. Toilet seat was loose and banged every time I used it. En Suite was far too small for the room single room. The twin room I was in originally was incredibly small with hardly enough space for two persons.
Staff were excellent, restaurant exceptional, would recommend!
Lovely area on the Firth of Forth, staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Food was very good. Local golf course very picturesque.
Wifi poor as we were in the stable block, only a small amount of on site parking.
Loved the way in which they took care of us all - tired driver, 92-year-old mother and Golden Retriever. (Actually, we were mother, daughter and dog, not strictly a group of friends.) Lovely food, too.
A bit noisy being right on a fairly busy road, so sleep not great. Probably better with windows closed, but it was unseasonably warm, so we hadd windows wide open.
Aberdour is a beautiful little village. Castle was interesting. Harbour was beautiful. Hotel was very comfortable and clean with excellent staff - service was excellent.
A lovely warm room with a comfortable bed and nice clean bed linen. Meals were excellent and staff very friendly.
Meal portions were too big for us but staff explained we could have senior portions and this sufficed. Problem solved.
The food was excellent
Nice, clean and quite place. Very close to the train station. Good if you are with a car as the city is about half an hour drive.Decent breakfast.
Not much of food option around in the small village.
Great location and people, staff couldn't be better. Have sung their praises back in new Zealand, couldn't be a better location.
Large ground floor room with comfortable bed and sofa and en-suite wet room. Flexible and helpful staff able to rapidly respond to individual requests. Well cooked food, sunny breakfast room. Excellent porridge. Some off-street parking.
Cooked breakfast option did not include any Scottish foods, although billed as a "Scottish breakfast", I.e no potato scone, haggis, square sausage,no fish options, (kipper, haddock, salmon and scrambled eggs) Very limited mobile phone coverage and pedestrian wifi
Friendly staff, clean facilities, brilliant food. Excellent all round.
Ease of check-in,spacious room, comfortable bed, very strong shower, good dinner in a nice relaxed environment, well cooked full breakfast.
Being woken up at 8am by staff dragging tables across the carpark (they were setting up for a Poems & Pints night), reduced light in room due to canopy erected for said P&P night (our room was on ground floor directly where the P&P venue was being held, room had no bath which would have been great, breakfast next working although well cooked, was just warm and coffee served extremely weak.
Friendly staff, spacious rooms, pleasant pubic rooms, excellent food
Bar food was very good
Not good value, room not maintained properly
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a good quality meal and tasty breakfast. The room was large with a kingsize bed which was spotless clean. The room had lots of windows with natural light making it a nice light and airy room.
The toilet had a problem flushing.
Everything. The owner and his staff couldn't do enough. Owner so lucky to have such nice staff working for him the food in the restaurant was superb the breakfast was excellent
Absolutely nothing only gripe parking was slight problem but u can park for free in railway station for free 200 yds away
Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous (especially Rachel). Food and prices excellent.
Lack of shelving and lighting poor, especially over mirror in bedroom and bedside lights.
