Great place to stay, very welcoming, friendly helpful staff, big room with a really comfortable bed. Food was superb.
Leaving to return home!
Food is delicious and nothing is too much trouble
Wifi is not picked up in room 1, the four poster room, so bear this in mind
Beautiful scenery, excellent for relaxing. Plenty of things to do nearby. Would highly recommend the hotels food and breakfast. Staff were very good. Would stay again.
A quiet and pleasant place to stay. Helpful staff and good quality food in the restaurant. Very comfortable room with great bathroom.
Some of the lights in the room didn't work and staff tried unsuccessfully to fix the problem.
The bedroom was nicely decorated, not big, but big enough. Bed fairly comfy. The food in the restaurant was good.
Car park spaces are few, and small. Do not go here if you have a big vehicle!
After a few busy days the setting, accommodation and the hospitality all contributed to a fantastic wind-down. Great accommodation and friendly staff means a second visit is a must.
This was a wonderful place to stay small mix up with booking that was fixed perfectly so helpful couldn't be more impressed. Everything at the hotel didn't need to leave. Comfortable beds, highly recommended.
Staff were very friendly Room was very nice Bath was lovely!
Couldn't see Entrance (and sign) until we were right on it Very long road to reach hotel Not enough choices for breakfast
There was noththink to diss like about the place.
Staff very helpful, comfortable bed excellent breakfast, altogether an enjoyable stay.
no handrail in shower. washbasin taps hard to turn on and off.
We liked the welcome we had when we arrived very helpful staff. The waitress at breakfast was very pleasant and jolly We enjoyed the food The room was great Location was lovely
I booked a one night stay for my wife and I as a celebration. When I booked the restaurant I asked for a romantic table, but when we arrived the staff had gone the extra mile to make it an outstanding evening. They pulled out all the stops for us. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Our room was beautiful, the food was even nicer and the service second to none. We will be going back for sure. I've already recommended it to friends and would advise you to book a seat in the restaurant well in advance, as there were no more tables available when we arrived. Rarely do you come across places that have the balance just right, but here that is exactly what you will find for this price bracket.
We were late arriving yet the kitchen stayed open to serve us, throughout the stay, nothing was too much trouble, young staff eager to please, specialty chefs with food that surpassed expectation. We would stay again without hesitation.
Room, food, staff
Beautiful area, peaceful yet full of life. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food. Fabulous bathroom.
Wish we'd had Sky TV so we could watch the football matches in the evening.
Staff: Some were very friendly, some were too busy to be friendly
Location in the middle of a caravanpark with hundreds of caravans, extremely busy and noisy in the weekends, quiet in the week however. Very misleading pictures for people who don't know the area or the potential concept. Dinner was average, service was not ok. Bad WiFi facilities
The room we stayed in was one of the best we've ever had - beautifully furnished with a fabulous bathroom. Although the hall is surrounded by static caravans, they are tastefully positioned within lovely woodland areas and are not intrusive. Would definitely stay there again.
The food was reasonably priced (for a hotel) but was nothing to write home about. My wife had penne arabiatta which should have had a 'very hot' warning on the menu as it was full of fresh chillies - more Indian than Italian. We also didn't get the exact dessert we had asked for. Staff very pleasant though.
The hotel is in the middle of a trailer park
Comfortable room, bed, and decent bathroom.
It was promoted as a country hotel but failed to disclose it was in the middle of a very busy and noisy holiday park. The property was very noisy with the bar, restaurant and lounges overrun with kids and loud parents all staying in the surrounding cabins etc. Some of the staff were very disinterested and service was poor. Our bed was not made properly and bathroom not cleaned.
Beautiful place, very warm welcome. Most of the staff were pleseant. Food was amazing
One of the chefs clearly had a problem with me sending something back, then went on to intimidate me and my partner when we walked outside the back of the kitchen In the carpark, once reported to the hotel manager he sent his apologies and offered us a free meal.
The location was excellent for visits to surrounding scenic areas. Staff were veryhelpful. A wonderful stay.
The surrounding parkland was beautifully tended and the hotel was welcoming, very comfortable and excellent food is served from the restaurant. We would go back in the future.
Very clean, excellent value for money. Staff friendly and very obliging.
