We were late arriving yet the kitchen stayed open to serve us, throughout the stay, nothing was too much trouble, young staff eager to please, specialty chefs with food that surpassed expectation. We would stay again without hesitation.
Room, food, staff
Beautiful area, peaceful yet full of life. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food. Fabulous bathroom.
Wish we'd had Sky TV so we could watch the football matches in the evening.
The hotel is in the middle of a trailer park
Comfortable room, bed, and decent bathroom.
It was promoted as a country hotel but failed to disclose it was in the middle of a very busy and noisy holiday park. The property was very noisy with the bar, restaurant and lounges overrun with kids and loud parents all staying in the surrounding cabins etc. Some of the staff were very disinterested and service was poor. Our bed was not made properly and bathroom not cleaned.
The location was excellent for visits to surrounding scenic areas. Staff were veryhelpful. A wonderful stay.
The surrounding parkland was beautifully tended and the hotel was welcoming, very comfortable and excellent food is served from the restaurant. We would go back in the future.
Very clean, excellent value for money. Staff friendly and very obliging.
Location ... private parking
We were welcomed by one of the waitresses who just said "hiya, I'll just get someone to book you in" not much of a smile or interest in us. But she was busy in the restaurant. The towels were very thin.
1st class dining, the food is well prepared & presented.
Very central location for all tourist attractions and the breakfast was very good.
Advertising whirlpool bath when it did not work. Mentioned it at check out but just said sorry! Could at least offerd a discount as that was one of the reasons for selecting this hotel after a day out walking.
Nice spot, although a bit of a drive to eat elsewhere. Young staff, all very friendly. Good food.
It seemed as if no one was in charge. Does a manager exist?
Location was ace!
Food at dinner and breakfast was awful. Room very small and uncomfortable extremely hot and muggy with a very small fan that did very little.
Clean and tidy ,,great location. The four poster room was excellent. The bathroom is stunning The food is excellent
Cpl of the younger waitresses didnt seem to like us for some reason,,no idea why. But it showed a little. Must admit we kept them busy and we did eat and drink lots with some friends
Breakfast and dinner very good and reasonable prices. Friendless helpful staff

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, nice ambience
Quite difficult to find the place.
Beautiful though a little tough to find since getting cell coverage is tough in the area. Make sure you know where you are going. Nice playground. Great food. Facilities really nice.
excellent food and friendly staff. Large room with everything supplied.
Cellar fan which ran all night below my window.
The location was perfect for visiting Porthmadog and Caernarfon and surrounding areas. The hotel was very comfy and the meals were delicious. The jewel in the crown was the fabulous breakfast .
Location was away from the town which suited me.The place was very caravan orientated, difficult to think of is it as a hotel really a good social club with beds.Breakfast was vet good room was clean.
Staff where little not really attentive. Lot of what they did the day before kind of talk. Wall very thin two much info from the next room.
Good location for the mountains.
Room just ordinary, bland walls. Noisy children in play park not peaceful Windows in need of attention.
