breakfast staff were excellent,
Good customer service. Good food. Good parking. Clean and comfortable except for the bathroom.
Our bathroom was in need of an update, gave a poor impression and appeared unclean in places.
Convenience and room fasciitis. Parking is a bonus
Ease of parking. Friendliness & helpfulness of staff.
Threadbare stair carpet. Overcooked dry lasagne for dinner. Restaurant staff inattentive despite there being few diners.
Clean modern building
No table light in room therefore make up a nightmare.
Excellent staff and food, easy to park good location to town centre. Sara was most helpful in recommending local places of interest and advice on shops and banks etc.
Air conditioning was noisy at night in the bedroom, especially the first night!
The Bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Nice TV with a big screen. VERY close to the town center (5 min drive)
We stayed in room 1. Right across the wall to reception and opposite what looked like a laundry room? So we pretty much had people talk and walk past our door all the time. If you fancy a view of a wall from your room (and a supermarket) then its the place for you, but it was a bit of a disappointment.
Lovely clean and spacious room. Breakfasts were in a different league altogether and kept me full right until mid afternoon.
Was a bit noisy at times as the lodge is situated on the main road but I live on a quiet cul de sac and used to little of no noise.
The Room was clean, big and airy ,nice tea ,coffee e.t.c.Breakfast was ,great,Come and go as you please.
The only thing ,was ,it was near main road roundabout so bit noisy.
Well maintained accommodation, reception staff very attentive and professional. Quiet room, very clean.
Restaurant service at breakfast left room for improvement. Staff failed to ensure we had a menu to order from before coming back to take order. Part of order failed to arrive. Seemed to be basic customer service training issue. Internet service although showing active kept stopping. Room lacked a stand to place luggage on.
Good insulation means that with windows closed you don't hear traffic from the busy roundabout on which the hotel is located. Comfy bed, decent breakfast.
Friendly staff Plenty of parking Spacious room Good breakfast
Room 1 has a water pipe in it that can make a noise
Friendly, helpful staff
My son complained that Wifi dropped off at times
Very helpful reception staff. Good breakfast
Tired looking, threadbare carpet on stairs.
It was the first time we had stayed at this hotel and were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Nice hotel, spotlessly clean, nice room, comfortable bed, nice staff. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.
The only thing that's lets this lovely place down is the threadbare stair carpet and lack of paint on the handrail. It made my heart sink a little as I thought the rooms would follow suit. Thankfully not so.
staff and welcome
Free car park
No one on reception when we arrived, had to wait a good 5 minutes. Having been assured that the wedding taking place that afternoon would not disturb us in the slightest, we had loud music until after midnight. Our room had a communicating door which made it very noisy when our neighbour came back in the middle of the night and put his tv on full blast. Bathroom fan was noisy, the corridor door next to our room was noisy and even the quilt on our bed was noisy, you would have thought it was made of tarpaulin
Staff were so efficient and friendly
cannot fault it
the food was very good.
the decor in the bedroom was dated
Stairs carpet is a bit threadbare.
Easy to find and park if using as a stop-over
Corner room was rather cramped due to ceiling configuration - so much so that there was no room in the bathroom for hand basin. This was therefore in the room with a rather cheap and already dated Formica faced unit beneath. Only on recessed ceiling light over basin, so very poor light for shaving. Cooking smells from adjacent kitchen extract were wafting into room when window was open.
Dirty No wifi Too hot to sleep TV did not work
Moth eaten stair carpets. potential trip/fall hazard
Buffet breakfast was excellent - good choice.
Wi fi was very temperamental
The staff were very courteous and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the rooms of a good quality. The restaurant was OK whilst the opportunity to have a high quality evening meal at the sister hotel was very good.
The wifi was very poor and for much of the two days I could not get any link to other websites - I was informed that it was free so that if it did not work it was not an issue! I was told it had been a problem for two weeks.
