Its way overpriced for what it is. Would warn people not to stay there. The website gives a false impression of the hotel. Rooms badly in need of renovation. Luckily my friend and i are size 10 or we would not have managed to fit in the shower room/toilet. Place smells damp and shower curtain was disgusting. Wish I had spent the night in a tent in the pouring rain instead.

I am 77 have travelled widely- at least twice round the world!- And have never had a better overall experience. This time with my daughter-in- law, grandson and his wife and we all were more than delighted with our experience, sadly only for one night, but we will be back and have their card to recommend to friends.

The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel completely at home. The room was nice but the blinds were broken and it didn't feel very clean.

Acarsaid is a very friendly hotel and we have experienced this also during a previous stay. The free shuttle to the theatre was very welcome, especially on a wet evening. The meals were wonderful and much credit must go to the chef for this. The waiting staff, too, were most proficient. Clare's involvement in the seemingly endless list of tasks she carries out and her personal manner do everything to enhance the guests' stay. We are likely to return at some future date.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable and spacious room. Soundproofing between rooms was not all that it could have been.

Management were very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Food was excellent. Location is quite beautiful, mountain views are amazing. Very comfortable rooms and common areas, would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We came form Toronto and loved it. Shower could definitely use some upgrading.

Freundlicher Service. Netter Empfang.

The locality - It was nearby for the theatre in Pitlochry. We felt it was over-priced. Our room was small with a small double bed. The room was also grubby - wobbly toilet seat, taped shower-head, ingrained dirt around the shower area. Thye food was of a poor standard for Scotland - E.G. pre-frozen haddock for breakfast and poor quality smoked salmon. It was one of the worst hotel stays we have experienced, especially in such a picturesque town.
