Location was convenient for the train and local interests. Unmade bed, No privacy from back 'yard' and washing line and staff using their phones outside of the property. Having to ask for replacement towels , tea. Coffee and milk . No net curtain for room privacy, wire hanging down and replacement net not there! Thick dust on radiator panels. Carpet not vacuumed for the 4 days that we spent there.

The location for our purpose was good as it is located opposite the rail station. We only stayed one night as we were joining a cruise. The cooked breakfast was good. Rooms very small. Advertised as a b&b but breakfast is not provided unless it is pre booked and paid for as an extra.

A pleasant and comfortable b&B. Only stayed for one night but no complaints. Well located just across the road from Dover Priory railway station, and close to the town and the castle.

We used St Albans for convenience to the ferry to Paris. We have no complaints with the guest house at all.It was value for money and well suited our purpose. May be some people could be put off as there was only parking available on the street, which was limited. We were lucky and had no trouble.

The Landlady let me check in 5 minutes early which was really great. Room was excellent and as I had attended an event that day the bed was an excellent standard too!

The location was excellent as it was within walking distance of the train station. The room was small but comfortable. It was a good choice for staying a night before catching the ferry to Calais. There were steep stairs which was problematic with heavy and large suitcases.

Able to store luggage whilst we went around town. Steep steps. Awkward with heavy luggage. Unable to provide breakfast due to flood in kitchen which meant we had to look elsewhere.

The lady who runs the hotel was very helpful in recommending things to see, places to go. She also recommended a restaurant which I thoroughly enjoyed. This hotel was located right next to the train station, which was great.

The Location of the b&b was the main requirement of my stay as I was attending an event in Dover. St Albans was just what I needed and have just booked to stay there again as im attending another event in Dover soon! Had to leave early, so wasn't able to enjoy any breakfast.

It had a window we could open, with a pleasant outlook. The hairdryer was good - you didn't have to hold your thumb on the switch to keep it on. The ensuite was very cramped.

The "Guest House" was adequate and well situated for the town centre. However, it was booked originally as a b and b and the sign outside the premises says "Bed and Breakfast". We assumed that the price would include breakfast, but on your site we did not know that breakfast was not included until we had paid and the booking page came out saying breakfast is extra. I mentioned this to the proprietor and she said I should have looked at her own site, but why should I? I expected all details to be put on your site before booking. This place has very steep steps from the pavement up to the front door so not suitable for disabled people - this is a comment as it was not a problem for us.

Absolutely nothing! Horrible place, wouldn't recomend to anyone! Very unfriendly, rude staff; absolutely horrible, incredibly small room with the smallest imaginable bathroom; the "views" from the room window - a backyard with hanging clothes;very, very noisy - couldn't sleep at all!
