The lady owner was very helpful and went out of her way to make you feel at home. The room was very unattractive, what I would expect in a moderately priced b&B. The shower was old and small with grouting looking very tired. We paid £107 for a double room, which was probably about £30-£40 too much. We went with high hopes but were really dissappointed. |

The Achilty Hotel was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the staff were a pleasure to talk with. - And we did chat. The food was excellent and tasty. The hotel offered good value and we would happily return. The hotel is located in a beautiful area and is well-sited for exploring further north and/or west. |
