Built around the mid 19th Century, Achnabobane Farmhouse is located in the Nevis Mountain range. It offers a quiet and peaceful location and rooms with mountain views. Each room comes with tea/coffee making facilities and a vanity unit. Some rooms are en suite and some feature a flat-screen TV. A full Scottish breakfast is served every morning. An early buffet breakfast is available on request. The Achnabobane has a guest lounge with a TV and Sky Satellite. There is free Wi-Fi which is limited because of the property’s thick granite walls. For our purpose of travelling around to see various sites it proved ideal. The owner very knowledgeable and interesting to speak with. He gave advice about the best routes to travel to obtain the best scenic views, local history and places to have our evening meals. Nothing.

The room is clean. 1. Even at the farm house we were not to permit to do anything such as using the kitchen. 2. Wifi is worse. Just in the dinning room the wifi is connected and there are difficulties to connect. 3. When using a credit card 2.5% of an adminstration fee charges additionally without any advanced notice.

Lovely and clean. Never slept in such a comfy bed, forgot to ask what mattresses they were. Only had the breakfast but was good selection and the cooked breakfast was very nice. Like Very nice and clean. Would recommend to anyone. Had the most comfy sleep ever, forgot to ask what mattresses they were, I need to buy one. Views excellent. Didn't have the evening meal but if the breakfast is anything to go by it must be very nice. Thanks for the stay. Would stay again.

Location with country quiet. They lock the only lounge at 10 pm. The wi fi shows a signal but was useless, and I have both Apple and Microsoft lap tops. Too many rules.

Great location and easy to find. If you arrive before 630pm you can order dinner for that evening - home cooked, great & good value. Not having an ensuite - but knew that when we booked.

Excellent service. Had to leave early as we were climbing Ben Nevis and although we couldn't have a cooked breakfast (it was 7.30am) there was still plenty of cereal, toast, fruit juice, yogurt and tea to fill us up and give us energy for our walk. Only downside is we didn't have an en suite room, although the bathroom was lovely and only short way down the hall.

I suppose the owner got more problemes with me then otherwise. I left the B&B and forgot to turn in the key. Lucky me, Elisabeth and Neill had humor and had a laugh with it (and the post in Schotland works fine :p so they got there key back) Nice place, loved the chickens and dogs :) Beautifull location ps: the homemade whiskeymarmelade didn't got through the airplane security (so we'll never got a taste of it,unfortunately)

The attitude of the host; he said it was an army sense of humour, but not to our taste and was essentially a quite rigid set of rules and appeals to save him money. Breakfast choice for "non cooked" was quite limited. The "Fine selection of cereals, I am sure you will find your favourite among them" consisted only of cornflakes, frosties and rice crispies; no muesli, and toast was cheap plastic wrapped bread.

We had an extremely pleasant stay at Achnabobane Farmhouse. Our hosts Neil and Elizabeth went out of their way to make us feel welcome and that our every need was catered to. After a long day climbing mountains, it was a treat to come back to the comfort of the farmhouse which has real character, and is within easy reach of Ben Nevis with amazing views.

Nice B&B. Sink on every room, as well as a kettle. Very clean. Nice hosts. Beautiful place. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely decoration. Independent wc from bathroom. 2% of card payment charge not stated in the booking reference. Heating not working (we couldn't ask because we arrived late at night).
