Acorn Hotel  

Very nice, friendly staff. Well designed room - it was small but didn't feel it. A window that opened. Quiet.Within easy walking distance of all the places I wanted to go. I hope to be a guest there again.

Good location - close to City Centre and West End. Easy on-street parking (free at weekends). Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.

Rooms above bar next door can be noisy until close.

THis hotel is situated beside a very noisy bar which played loud music until 1.30am making it impossible to sleep. The sound insulation between rooms was also poor

Perfect design of room. Ideal place for relax, healthy sleep and travel: located on the quiet street, 10 minuts by walk to the city-center, 10-15 minuts by walk to railway and bus stations. Frendly staff. In the room: tea and coffee, hair-drier, rectifier for hair, electric kettle, tv.

The member of staff who was on duty throughout my stay was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. Great location, enormous breakfast. No complaints!

Carpet is a bit worn bit hard to tell if it is clean, other than that I cant fault it

very friendly, helpful staff, quick answering to questions by email, good shaped rooms for a single person, nice interior, very well situated in glasgow, everything in walking distance (supermarket, bus stations, city center, kelvingrove park, university...), good freshly cooked breakfast

wall between rooms are quite thin, so if your neighbor is snoring....

generous tea and coffee etc in room, good cooked breakfast

lights in bathroom were very dim

It was beautiful and mine and my husbands first stay away together sibce having our first baby... The room was lovely the.shower was phenomenal and the man at reception coukdnt have done.more for us called all our taxis and was great help thanks again for making our stay so nice will be returning :-)

Friendly helpful staff, good location, comfortable and affordable

The staff , i say staff but we only saw one lovely man who appeared to do everything , I found room cold on arrival but heating was turned up immediately and we were offered another room which we declined as ours was lovely and warmed up very quickly , shower was large ,powerful and hot ................excellent :-)

it was only a 20 min walk into town .the hotel was very warm and cozy and a good choice for breakfast

The chap on reception who also did the cooki g was excellent. He was very helpful and pleasant.

No lift. Had to climb the stairs to the second floor.

The staff are incredibly helpful, polite and kind. My single room was well heated, clean, reasonable size, good shower, and comfortable. I seriously(!) recommend this hotel, and I plan to visit it again in the future. You won't be disappointed.

Rooms were well-laid out, utilising all the space well with lots of accessible plug points.

Breakfasts could offer more fresh fruit.

Lovely feeling of space in the city, overlooking the park. Ideal location, clean, friendly, helpful staff - no noise problem at all, had been worried about this from Trip Advisor, but fears completely unfounded as hotel has new neighbours.
