It was comfortable and in a convenient location. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was small - it included a bed for a third person - which would have been impossible to accomodate Romm was somewhat small for 2 people |

Helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms behind the main building were very quiet and seemed to be newly refurbished. Free wifi was nice to have! |

The location which is within 15 minutes walking of central Cambridge. The rug was dirty. The bathroom smelled. The breakfast room was tiny. The bedcovers were not clean and were tattered and old. This is not a four star Hotel. |

I only had to stay for one night! Could not easily get into/out of the shower without opening bedroom door! Not even a bin or loo brush! Poor finish on decor, marks on flooring. "Double" was twin beds pushed together with differing height of mattresses, making it very a uncomfortable stay |

The room itself was lovely and the breakfast was delicious Bathroom was tiny! We stayed in a family room but the bathroom was in no way designed to reflect 3 people staying in the room |

The staff was friendly. The ceiling was too low and it was hardly possible to stand up in the room. It felt claustrophobic. Also the bathroom was tiny with the shower almost too small for one person. |

Breakfast was excellent though the dining room was too tight for comfort, tables were too close together and access was at times hindered. The annex we stayed in was too close to the road with the only window out on the street, noise from passing cars was disturbing and the little ensuite was too small for elderly adults; especially when using hte sink. No one has swept under the beds for some time. |

People were friendly. Breakfast was good, though the fried sausages were somewhat overcooked. Reasonably close to city centre. About 20 minutes on foot. Too expensive. Charged GBP 160 for a small family room (with one double and two twins). Settlement by credit card would attract a 5 percent surcharge. Washroom was tiny, with space only for a shower cubicle and the toilet. Even the wash basin had to be located outside the washroom -- like university dormitory. Water pressure was weak and temperature uneven. No on-site parking. |

It was easy to book online, and was open at the time advertised. Breakfast was a pleasant meal, and the staff adapted well to our requests. General penny-pinching attitude: Tea & coffee facilities were minimal & were not replenished at any time during our stay. It was clear that as many rooms had been pushed into the space as possible. The entrance to the woefully inadequate car-park (space for 1, but marked out for 7) was drastically narrowed by an outbuilding (yet another set of rooms to let) Noise: the fire escape walkway past our window was used by talkative revellers late at night. Opening the window fully actually blocked their path; and we were not warned of this problem. |

I like the proximity to the river path into the centre of Cambridge, and the relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. |
