The proprietor was extremely friendly and we felt nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness was exemplary. The room was plainly furnished but had everything one could need and the lighting better than that in most hotel rooms.
There was nothing we did not like.
Les couldn't do enough for us.He booked taxis for us and was very attentive.Breakfast was excellent as was the room
Difficult to find the small opening to the car park and a hair dryer would have been nice,
Fab breakfast Quiet
Smelt a bit fishy but it was hosts dinner I think
Les was friendly enough.
Being asked what I wanted for breakfast when checking in at 15.30pm. Poor quality of said breakfast. Noisy location - being on a main road - church bells chime every hour, and dustmen arrive very early. Very small shower cubicle and poor water pressure. Overvalued.
Small hotel in very nice town. Everything is clean but old. Free WiFi. The owner of the hotel is a very nice man.
The owner was very welcoming and helpful, would do everything to make it a pleasant stay.
Some of the friendliest hosts i have come across, breakfast and morning coffee were first rate.
The breakfast was awesome, exactly what we needed!
Price a little too high
Outstanding service, convenient location, a spotlessly clean and comfortable room with plenty of space.
Very minor: no shaver socket in bathroom. Only a problem because my shaver chose to run out of battery power at the wrong time
When I asked owner of that hotel about cheese at the breakfast, he came to the shop and specially for us bought some packs! Room is clear and good, breakfast is nice, the owner is friendly and gives good pieces of advice about traveling. Good parking.
The owner very helpful, caring and informative.
Nothing to say here. The place was lovely. The guest rooms all appeared to be on the first and second floors so not for mobility impaired.
The friendly and relaxing nature of the owner/s great breakfast too.
It was lovely, clean and warm. The breakfast and the hosts were lovely. Good value for money
Some of the furnishings. Screws showing on pictures and TV stand. Tv marks and in sightly tape on the tv. I understand that you want this feedback. Hope it is helpfull. Just attention to detail goes a long way. .
Les, the owner, is really friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. I had a spacious, clean room. Excellent cooked breakfast. Heaps of free parking right at the door. I would certainly stay here again.
Very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and very spacious room.
Nothing to dislike.
No vat receipt when booking.com showed vat as part of the room price
I only met the owner, but was totally satisfied with all aspects. Thank you
Landord and family very welcoming and friendly. Made us feel at home. Breakfast fab! Close to clumber park and Sherwood Forest. I would stay again.
Cold in attic family room at first but landlord rectified that straight away.
Very nice and friendly owner. We booked a family room for 4 adults and it was big and comfortable. Very clean room and excellent home made English breakfast. Good location. Safe and free private car park.
Could do with a restaurant for guests but we understand it may be difficult for the owner.
This is more a B&B rather than a hotel, but was of a decent quality. Very good breakfast and owner very helpful.
Tip. Entrance is in the car park behind the Acorn Sandwich Shop. Down a side access. Easy to miss.
Very clean, comfortable and warm. Good internet Wi-Fi signal. Custom served breakfast. Manager is very helful. Ironing board and steam-iron available. Also socket adaptors for overseas guests.
Not easy to find if you don't know the town streets, but no problem if you come by taxi or GPS navigator.
Friendly, felt safe (solo female traveller) warm and comfortable. I did not venture into Worksop as I did not have time, so have no comment to make about the town itself
The entrance to the car park was easy to miss (because I missed it!) in dark/rainy weather. The door into the hotel, though obviously adequate in security terms, was not obvious as a front door to a hotel - perhaps this could be improved with a porch or better lighting?
Very friendly owner adn very accomodating. Went up for the half marathon and he allowed us to shower after and a late check out. Excellent location to city centre.
