no wi fi no pone in the bedroom
food choice (full dinner no other options)
The beer garden and close to airport
The food was very poor. The shower was the worst I've experienced. Most of the staff weren't very pleasant and room was very very small.

Character of the main hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Room was very small. Very congested arrival as two coach parties arrived at the same time as us- very disorganised way to get preppie to their rooms.
the outside view
staff were not communicative, carpets were never hoovered when we where there, service was poor in bar and dinning hall, meals were disgusting, anyone could have walked into breakfast as there were no checks on room numbers from staff. hotel needs a refurb.
The placement is really good. Near to the airport. Just 10min by car.
The menu. It's a buffet, but there are not so much to choose. Really poor.
Excellent facilities excellent food
Nothing to dislike
Grounds were filthy & evidently had not been cleaned for months. Accommodation was "pokey", & hotel was vastly overcrowded with large tourist buses, with high levels of consequent noise. Avoid this place at all costs !
The room that I had was Perfect for the Disabled Comfortable Beds Very Clean and beds changed every day and no bath with tea and Coffee in your room and TV on the wall. The Reception Staff could not have been any Nicer or helpful.
Not enough staff on the Bar Area and waiting for ages and not being able to move or get near it for empty glasses lying Dirty on it then when you got served they had run out of stock and had nothing you wanted, it was a waste of time queing up and a shame for the barman trying to run it on his own and had only worked there two weeks and got thrown in at the Deep End on his Own, the other lad was useless and he was there two years doing nothing I saw. Prices Far too High as well for spirits with mixers.
The food was very poor no plates tables not laid up
Communication between management and staff and staff and guests was poor.
The quality of food available for breakfast in the morning. Customers weren't told where the pots of tea/coffee were and the staff weren't too welcoming earlier. They were having conversations with one another, which involved a lot of swear words and critising management infront of guests. Service at the bar was also extremely poor. Customer service was extremely bad!
everything un clean poor roon like army camp no food for brestfast not many staff and a big fire riest
Staff were friendly and attentive and the bar was cheap for a hotel
the rooms were small and very basic, transport to Prestwick and Ayr was very expensive as no direct route
Bland food very basic and tasteless,
bed uncomfortable, also no chair in room
Food the breakfast was a disgrace bacon looked as if th pig was still alive not much choice of health options. Carvary was even worse only a choice of ham run out of roast potatoes veg dreadful no cream for the sweet which was only chocolate cake and the icing on the cake was to coat us £16.99 no way got 50% of bill. You should not have this hotel on your books it was simply terrible
The road out....
Where do I start? Tiny, confused reception area - large queues to book in and not helped by numerous coach parties, tiny bar that ran out of drink, change and staff (1 to serve all customers). No seating once you got your drink. Food in evening - buffet only with very limited food choice all for £18.00. Too expensive for what you got but too far to go elsewhere. Not surprised folk were getting pizzas delivered. Breakfast - poor. Massive annex has been built behind the old building that is huge and signing to rooms is atrocious. Took 15 mins wandering to eventually work it out. Rooms were small, shower was poor & needed attention and obviously had water leak above roof. Unless you like Fawlty Towers, I personally would give it a miss. Someone actually needs to learn how to run it. Seems numbers through the door more important than service. Country House Hotel? Nope.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
the staff were friendly
on arrival, they messed our booking up, they asked us to book a table for evening meal, NO FOOD left? Room was next to the kitchen bins and it stunk, the breakfast was cold beans or hard fried eggs, burnt toast. no receipt given on leaving, and still waiting a vat Correct invoice after they have tried 3 times. they even have cheek to charge 10p per minute when you ring up!!!!
4 coach parties of Chinese arrived every evening and got up about 6:00am used all the hot water so no hot water for 4 mornings. Restaurant very poor buffet food lowest standard I have experienced in years.
A tired hotel the environs of which are unkempt. Weeds and litter surround the hotel.
Handy for airport, nice grounds.
Water was too hot to have a shower.
