I would never go back n wouldn't suggest to anyone.
Very relaxing and stressfree break. Beautiful surroundings set in the Ayrshire countryside.
The price was fair the location was lovely
The bed was very uncomfortable the bar was never manned in the day waited over an hour for a drink to few staff for a very busy hotel
food was poor staff were unhelpful at bar the only member of staff couldn't cope and had no change, customers were changing change between themselves
Handy for going to gigs in the area clean on the occasions we have stayed here always enjoyed it only one occasion when people were coming in from a flight delay that were a bit noisy
Flight delay people being a bit noisy. The worst problem is the room numbering system which needs changed as trying to find your room is a nightmare lol
Nice breakfast buffet
Not easy to find at night. Could not find a phone number for the hotel.
Quiet location Room clean
Needs a good clean to stairways and hallways
The evening buffet choice was too limited, for a hotel located outside town I think you should offer more to interest your guests to entice them back.
Quiet location. Comfortable room.
Breakfast selections could have been topped up more regularly.
Location was useful because of our early flight but next time we will stay at home and pay for the can which is same price as a night in the hotel.
In a quiet country location reasonably close to Prestwick Airport. Nothing pretentious but clean, comfortable room, basic bathroom. Good bar, lounge and public rooms. Breakfast and dinner available if required. I did not have either and so am unable to comment on the quality of the food served at either meal. Generally good value for money. I would go back if visiting the area again.
breakfast buffet great value for money.
tucked away down a country lane.very difficult to find without a sat-nav very popular with coach parties. very noisy in the mornings as numerous coaches leave their engines on idle while they gather their passengers. not my best choice
The look. Love the staircase, rooms etc.
WiFi poor, a bit down at heel in some areas. Staff helpful enough, but not especially. The food was poor both dinner and breakfast.
the drive out
scruffy, dirty, builders tools and rubbish everywhere. awful bland food no disabled facilities ..had to help lady with walker on 3 occasions just getting around steps etc
Dragging suitcases up to top level. Found only 1 lift for staff and it was out of order. Hard to find the room number in a "rabbit warren" of corridors, and likewise even difficult to find the dining room. Made a booking because we understood it was very close to Prestwick Airport, only to find that it wasn't and taxi ride was costly both times we stayed. Isolated position of hotel meant nowhere to walk to, and no footpaths. Found a wet towel in ensuite and the curtain was fallen on to the floor. Found a housemaid who reported broken curtain rail to Maintenance.
Very close to Prestwick airport but little noise. Very good value for money and staff were very helpful and great breakfast
Lack of Wifi in rooms an slow speeds in public area.
Lack of signage for reception
Staff were friendly and efficient. It was a lovely location and I had a very comfortable sleep.
The sheets did not smell fresh. My husband thought his sheets had not been changed but I think it may have been just a general musty smell from them.
no wi fi no pone in the bedroom
food choice (full dinner no other options)
The beer garden and close to airport
The food was very poor. The shower was the worst I've experienced. Most of the staff weren't very pleasant and room was very very small.
