I booked this hotel for the location as my daughter was dancing at the Royel Albert Hall and its approx 1 mile away. This Hotel looks nice from the outside but goes down hill from there onwards. I arrived back to the hotel at midnight with my two children in the pouring rain to find the 24 hr reception was empty. Having rung the door bell constantly for 5mins a hotel guest finally let us in!!!! We helped our selves to the key went down to our room. Just about to close the door when the night porter??SHOUTED At us for not waiting for him to let us in (at midnight with my 2 girls in the rain) the abuse went on and on..... He then proceeded to shout at the lovely lady who had left her bed to do his job. Dont go to this hotel. Not enough space to tell you about lumpy pillows etc

I did not like the way I have been treated by the hotel after I cancelled a booking. And I donot like how they keep your bank details and use them after you have vacated the hotel.

The room rate was reasonable, and the hotel was just a block away from Paddington Station (Paddington is a hub for the underground and also has a direct train to Heathrow Airport). The rooms were simple, but clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was included and very good. No internet was available in the rooms. (I knew this ahead of time, but it would still be nice to have).

Staff were very amenable and the hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are servicable and basic, and some are better than others. We went with friends and there rooms were warm but ours was cold, but by the time we had been out for dinner the staff had sorted this out. Breakfast was good and set you up for the day. We will definately use the hotel again.

Easy to walk to from Paddington station. I expected more in comparison to other hotels booked through Booking- Com. I suppose London hotel prices cannot be compared with other places ie Harrogate. Sussex Gardens is noisy, a very busy road and with a street facing room it was noticeable. Powdered milk and Buger King sachets of sugar on the tea/coffee facilities sums it up.

Really good location. Quiet room, got a good nights sleep. Pretty descent coffee served with breakfast. The breakfast room got a little bit overcrowded but I guess a lot of people came down to have breakfast at the same time.

The location was convenient for train and underground connections. The exterior of the building is impressive, the interior however leaves rather a lot to be desired. The rooms are in dire need of an update seeing as it is possible to stay in much more modern hotels for a lesser price within the area. In my opinion, regardless it being London, the prices are not justified by the room quality. The reception is 24 hours and the staff very helpful, but the fact remains that the area is residential and for a young couple it does not provide any night time attractions, the nearest such facilities being near Piccadilly. Overall it served its purpose by providing a bed to sleep in and a place to shower, not much else though.

The location was where we wanted. Booking was simple. The room was cramped. One bed was damaged. When we arrived we were told credit card payment was 5% extra which is unreasonable. I paid by debit card.

Greetings I was staying in your Adare hotel from October 15 to October 23 room 7. My reservation was done by me personally for two persons. On October 22, I was waiting my visitor to come and your reception guy stopped her. I reported to reception and informed and this is my other person I have paid for . He rejected again and again. I tried to convince him but there was no way . I have paid for transportation and he corrupted my arrangement. If you believe that I have the righ

There was absolutely nothing to recommend this hotel, other than the location: I needed somewhere very close to Paddington Station. On arrival, I was told there was a 5% surcharge over the price quoted by booking.com. The bedroom was small; the bathroom was unbelievably tiny, right down to a child-sized toilet seat. When I booked, most other hotels in the area were full. Now I know why this one wasn'T.

Very good location for Paddington Station, my room (#4 just behind reception) was quiet. Reception friendly and helpful. The room was very very basic (not a complaint - just an fyi), shower stall had some mildew and two out of four lamps in the room didn't work. All of the above was not a problem for me as I just wanted an inexpensive place to stay to get to Paddington Station early in the morning.

Located close to the Puddington train station. No shampoo, no feet towel, the receptionist refused to help me carry my suitcase downstairs in the morning even though I explained I was pregnant. The room needs redecoration - pain peeling off walls, fungus of mauld in the bathroom.
